  • Poor management, Health Risk

    I’ve lived at Station House for five years. For the first few, it felt like home; well-managed, clean, and safe. That changed when the new property manager took over. Since then, the decline has been obvious. It seems like costs are being cut across the board, and it’s the residents who are paying the price. The biggest concern is the growing presence of German roaches not just in units but crawling through public hallways and shared spaces. There’ s no real pest control program anymore, and the ...
    infestation has gotten out of hand. These issues include, but are not limited to: 1. Persistent roach infestation and lack of a proper pest control regimen, which creates an uninhabitable environment and health risk. 2. Recurring air conditioning failures due to refrigerant leaks, two repairs in 12 months. This has driven up my utility bills and made the apartment miserable during warm months. 3. Lack of security, especially the access door on the third floor of the garage (by the crosswalk), which is always unlocked and allows anyone into the building. 4. Garage gates that work intermittently, leaving residents and their vehicles exposed. 5. Amenities in disrepair, like broken grills, non-functional fire pits, and a water leak in the atrium in my unit that countries to leak on my office equipment . 6. Unreliable elevators and frequent false fire alarms, which have triggered major anxiety for my daughter. 7. Critical safety lapses, such as no emergency lighting in stairwells during a power outage this past July. I fell during that blackout and injured both shoulders. What makes it worse is the management. The property manager is never seen walking the property. Try to raise concerns and you’ll be told she’s too busy and that you need to email her. Yet I’ve witnessed her being immediately available and over-the-top friendly with some residents particularly those who are Hispanic. It’s hard not to feel like equal treatment isn’t a priority here. I’m giving my 30-day notice. After five years, it’s disappointing to leave under these conditions, but this is no longer a safe or healthy place to live. I truly hope ownership steps in and addresses the management and maintenance issues before more residents are forced to walk away.

  • Roach Invested

    Have lived in Florida all my life in homes and apts. The last time I saw a roach was in my teenage years, a long time ago. Traumatized by roaches for months that were hiding in every crack, every cabinet, electrical outlets and my coffee maker. It was so bad when I packed up to move the roaches hiding in boxes are now in my brand new apt. UGH!

As part of your lease, we do provide weekly pest control at the residents request and on a quarterly basis for preventative measures. After further investigation we do not see any reported records of any major issues related to pest recently.   • A home way from home!

    While I was only there for under a year before I moved into a house, I had a great experience at Station House. If there was anything I needed help with, Catara and Clive were always available. They are the best management team. The apartments are clean, stylish, stocked with new appliances. And the building as great amenities like the gym, pool, common areas indoor and outdoor, and grills. It’s conveniently located across from the Sunrail Station and the Lake Mary PD. It’s a quick walk to ...

  • bad management and pest control

    the apartments themselves are really nice but the staff is horrible when it comes to resolving leasing issues. there is also a wasp problem that never gets properly dealt with either. maintenance is quick though.

  • Great Place to Live With an AMAZING STAFF!!

    We have lived at the Station House at Lake Mary for 1 year and have totally LOVED it! The location is ideal, the property is very unique and private, nicely maintained, and the staff is the best!! Meghan, Taylor, and Chris have always been friendly and extremely accomodating. They host the best events from Wine Down Wednesday's to fun themed holiday parties. We would definitely recommend the Station House to anyone who is looking for anew place to call home; you will not regret it!!

  • Don't believe anything they tell you.

    Absolutely incompetent management. We've asked them on multiple occasions to perform AT LEAST a daily walk through of the property (something that should be so common sense we shouldn't need to ask), we find trash thrown in the hallways and left for days, people leaving their garbage out in the hallway in the mornings and not getting picked up until that night, etc. etc. Abandoned vehicles left in the parking garage for well over a year, etc. Every single time we're lied to and told that they ...
    will do better. Today, the fire alarms have been sounding for over 20 minutes so far, and they also went off yesterday- one of the dozens of times since we've moved in. No email from management, no notice, no nothing. Several weeks ago I nearly broke my neck slipping outside of the elevator because the parking garage was draining rain INTO the hallway. Enough is enough. Fire the entire staff and start over from scratch.

    I have been living at Station house at Lake Mary for a year now. I have to say for my first apartment, I have truly enjoyed living here. My apartment was in excellent shape and the perfect size for my boyfriend, sister and I. The amenities and the overall property was well maintained and just beautiful. I loved living so close to downtown lake Mary and would often take walks to enjoy the shops and restaurants. My apartment is in exceptional shape and well maintained and I love all of the storage space. The amenities and landscaping are kept up wonderfully and centrally located for easy access.     I've been living at Station House for almost 2 years now. As my lease is coming to an end, and I'm looking for a change of scenery, I'm heartbroken to be leaving these beautiful apartments. Since the day I toured, the community has always been charming and inviting to myself and all my guest. If you love the idea of being in a small town feel with easy access to city living, this is the place you want to be.     stunning fireplaces are just a few of the amazing amenities they offer. That's not to mention the countless sports, wine & cheese, facial, cookouts, entertainment parties they host in the community itself. Former management, Epoch was fabulous and under new management, Robbins, it's thriving and adding even more amenities. The new staff also have started to do some renovations to the community, I hear there is a cycle and yoga room coming as well. The apartments themselves are upscale, sleek, modern, spacious but also extremely "homey" feeling. They do an outstanding job at keeping the property maintained. The staff at Station House both 2 years ago and now are extremely helpful and devoted to making sure you're taken care of. From the old management to the new ones, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Gigi is the "concierge" so to speak of the clubhouse, she assists in package deliveries at night. Not only does she help you out with anything she can, she goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly throughout the community. She is an amazing person to chat with and has the kindest soul; we love you Gigi! And if you ever need anything done, don't hesitate to ask for Will, he is reliable, trustworthy and does everything in his reach to guarantee you're satisfied with the work. The rest of the staff are very kind and personable, they always welcome you with a smile. If you're looking for apartments in the Lake Mary/Sanford area, Station House really is a great investment. I ride the train to work so no need for driving through out the week; it saves me the headache of traffic and gas. It's in the heart of the downtown Lake Mary area with tons of cute restaurants and shops. The staff and the apartment complex speak for themselves, you will fall in love with these units, no doubt about it!
