If I could rate Steeplecrest lower than this I would. The people above us have there kids running wind sprints regularly to the point where you think someone is in your home. The light fixtures shake over an over very loudly to where it sounds like they might fall. I've called the office about a dozen times with ZERO results. If you like to live next to sketchy folks that are rude and with a do nothing office in an apartment that is very old and way over priced, this place is for you.

There have been multiple break-ins of cars in the parking lot which indicates this isn't the safest place to live. People around this apartment complex frequently party until very late on weekends and you hear everything because there is inadequate sound proofing and you are right on top of each other. The people with kids allow their children out early to play in their apartments, running and screaming and jumping right above you on weekends and again, you hear everything. After eight months of ...
five hours of sleep and management that laughs when you call and provides empty words and inactivity to address these issues, I would advise folks to stay away. This has been an awful place to live.

Ridiculous pricing staff is rude all they care about is how much you make and tell you if you can afford it or not even if you know you can. When you go out your door you smell dog feces and the maintenance people ride through like they are on the race track. TOO noisey and never a place to park near your own apartment. They constantly post flyers about rules but never enforce them. ALSO usually only 1 washer and dryer work in the laundry facility and the car wash area is basically a garden hose ...
with sprayer and the vacuum tip is cut off. I would NOT recommend them.

We Are New Residents Of The Area and I absolutely loved it from the minute we pulled in the entrance . It's a very family oriented place to stay . So many things the kids can do like the soccer field behind the entrance and the computer lab in the leasing office and the Tennis Court. The apartment is quite spacious and nicely put together. Neighborhood is Quite and peaceful . Saving the best for last The view of the Lake From the Balcony is to die for ! I would advise everyone to move here .

My fiance's family has lived here for the past 5 years or so. We moved out around 3 years ago, and we've had nothing but terrible experiences with landlords and managing companies. For the longest time I was the only income in our household, which was extremely difficult.
After talking to Penny, the manager of Steeplecrest, we decided that it was time for us to move in to these apartments. And it was the best decision we've made (other than getting engaged).
The staff is fantastic. They know us ...
by name, and they are our actual neighbors. They care about the tenants and IF there are any problems, they get fixed within the first 24 hours. I can't wait until my lease runs out so we can sign an extension!

We found an apartment right next to Columbus where my wife and I both work. Very nice, with enough space for us and a super large saltwater pool! We requested a bottom floor because we have dogs so it is very easy to take dogs outside. The bus stop for my youngest daughter was right outside my back door. We have our own trash dumpster and car wash at Steeple Crest. I know the security officer who lives in our complex. He is also a deputy with the local sheriff's office. He lives and works here ...
and gives us all piece of mind knowing that he is just a phone call or a short walk away. We have enjoyed it so much that when a new apartment was being built next door, we stayed and got a better rate than the new apartment and thanks to Penny at Steeple Crest, we have new blinds, new carpet installed and have signed a lease for an additional 18 months. We have lived here for over 5 years now. I can't imagine being happier, anywhere else! Awesome service with the staff in the office, great location and excellent rental rate. Please do yourself a favor and come visit the staff to see if Steeple Crest will be your choice for a new home!

Steeple Crest Apartments rock! We have the most courteous staff. The apartments set off in a wonderful location, close to everything you want or need.
