Could be better with improvements..
July 9, 2025I had a great tour with Kash, the leasing consultant. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the leasing process feel smooth. My actual move-in experience was disappointing and lacked proper follow-through. There was no link provided in advance to pay for keys or move-in essentials, and no follow-up communication on my actual move-in day. When I arrived around 4:30pm, the office was already closed (supposed to be closed at 6pm), which delayed my entire process. On top of that, my reserved ...parking spot wasn’t available. Parking is managed by a third party, and the on-site team is mostly hands-off, only providing the permit and keycard. This disconnect caused unnecessary back-and-forth and frustration. At a minimum, the on-site team should be providing a Parking sign-up link in the welcome email. Additionally, while amenities are technically open until 10 PM, anything that requires staff assistance, like the courtyard TV or fireplaces, is only accessible while the office is open (around 5–6 PM). That should be clearly explained during the tour. It’s frustrating to have these features available but unusable after work hours. The 24/7 fitness center is a plus, and Edwin (Maintenance Supervisor) and Nigel (Front Desk) have been wonderful and helpful. But I recommend asking detailed questions on your tour, especially about parking logistics, move-in process, and amenity access. Lastly, I had an uncomfortable interaction with the property manager, Michael. He gave off dismissive energy, barely acknowledged me, and acted inconvenienced by a simple question. Funny enough, I had seen him in June being overly friendly and upbeat during a corporate tour. The shift was hard to ignore. Does corporate need to be on-site every day for him to even pretend to be welcoming to new residents? I’m hopeful things will improve, but the move-in experience left a lot to be desired.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

My husband and I walked in because we were in the area looking at another apartment that wasn’t great, and at first no one could give us a tour but then Kash was able to assist us and she was amazing! She helped us pick out a high ceiling room that was perfect for my husband and I! We move in tomorrow and so far everything has been a breeze. September 30, 2024My boyfriend and I moved to Stella last week and everything has been perfect! Since our very first tour of Stella we both knew this location would be perfect for us since we both commute to DC for work. Kash literally put the icing on the cake, she was soo helpful and friendly and walked us through the entire process as first time renters. She made sure all of our questions were answered and helped us every step of the way. Fast forward to us signing the lease and moving in, this process has been ...almost seamless, managemenyt and the entire team have been so prompt and going above and beyond to make sure we were settling in nicely. I must say paying for reserved parking isn’t necessary; there are plenty of spaces on all levels so unless yo feel you need a designated spot i would save yourself $30. Parking is handled by a third party so this has nothing to di with Stella, but the garage definitely seems secure and safe si no complaints there. All in all we love living at Stella already and are so happy to call it home. The metro and closeness to DC is a bonus. April 9, 2024While this apartment is at a good location and is nice looking on the inside it’s not worth moving here. The walls are so thin! you can hear everything going on in your apartment. Every argument, step, music being played can be heard in your apartment. Its an electric key entrance and sometimes it doesnt work and will take 5 mins to lock. Security isnt good, strangers have came plenty of times into the building trying to break in. The fire alarm goes off every month at crazy times so you have to ...leave. Parking is very expensive, you have to pay $100 just to park on your floor in the garage. If you can’t move in on the TOP floor it is not worth moving here.
