December 1, 2017Me and my wife really like our Stonebrook apartment. However ownership of the property recently changed hands and the new owners are raising the rates substantially. Owners Will Take Advantage Of You!
December 1, 2017We have loved it here at Stone Brook for the last year. The management is amazing and so are the people in our building. HOWEVER, the owners of Stone Brook suddenly decided to raise our rent by $70 without giving us any warning, so when it came time to either renew our lease or move, we were forced to sign again because there wasn't enough time to find another apartment. Seriously unacceptable behavior from the owners to be taking advantage of their residents for their own financial again. DO NOT LIVE HERE
July 14, 2017I highly recommend finding a better place to live. Stone Brook was nothing but chaos when my husband and I decided to live there. The parking spots are so tiny, and we have accumulated countless door dings because of it. The hard water in the sprinklers will ruin your car. We could hear everything in the apartment above us, the entire year we lived there. We got a nail in our tire from the roof work that was done, and I was almost injured because the people that were working on the roof were ...throwing huge pieces of roofing and nails, down to the ground, not caring that people were walking underneath them. I had made a sign for my door, that was ruined when the doors got pressure washed, and Stone Brook didn't bother to send out an email letting everyone know to remove things from their door, until AFTER it had happened.The people in the main office are always new and don't know how to help with anything. We had an ant problem and were told not to take care of it ourselves, but it took them a good 6 months to send someone out. The ant problem still continued. Our carpet flooded because of poor draining, after the snow began to melt. On top of everything, we are now not receiving our deposit back, after we were promised that we would, because the computer system dissolved the deposit into a credit for rent. We were not told that this would happen or asked if this was okay, and it was not until after being moved out for over a month, we were given this information. I am LIVID with the poor management and faulty system that Stone Brook has. It was a huge ordeal to get out of our contract that was ending, and now we are not receiving a deposit we were promised to receive. DO NOT LIVE HERE! A great community to live in
August 17, 2015Stone Brook apartments is a great place to live. I currently live in a two bedroom apartment here and it is so comfortable to live in. The apartment itself is very roomy. The kitchen is large and connects directly to the living room. It comes with a washer and dryer in the unit so no having to deal with the hassle of taking our laundry somewhere else. Besides the great apartment I would say that the management is the best thing about Stone Brook. They are SO helpful. They are kind and really care ...about their tenets. For example, my wife and I had reserved the clubhouse (a large building they have that you can use 24/7 for free that has a pool table, ping pong table, and entertainment center)for her friends bridal shower. The day before we called to make sure that everything was okay and it turns out they had written down the wrong date for my wive. So we weren't able to use it. They offered to put us up in an empty apartment which we declined but the manager went and bought us two dozen coco bean cupcakes to make up for it. Nice Family Housing
July 28, 2015These apartments are conveniently located close to the best ice cream place in Rexburg (G's Dairy)! It is also close to a Maverik gas station. The apartment managers are easy to get a hold of and maintenance is quick if you ever need anything. The neighbors are friendly and it is a really safe area. A little pricey compared to some places in Rexburg, but not too bad compared to other cities.Review from Apartments.com
