Stonehill Apartments is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The owners cannot keep a property manager, and when the owners are the point of contact, they ignore both calls and emails. They also do not have regular hours unless there is an office manager. When tenants put in work orders, maintenance will close them without even looking at the issue. The 24 hour maintenance situation is a joke. It took the emergency messaging service over 4 hours to actually get a hold of the on call ...

maintenance person about a leak, and the person was calling the maintenance person every 15 mins. Then the maintenance person brushed off the issue as residual water from a leak that was taken care of the week before. There was no communication (they never communicate with tenants) that a leak happened in my apartment, and had to be repaired. The buildings also have mice. You can hear them squeeking in the cabinets. The lawn maintenance is a joke, too. The owners won't have the bushes trimmed, so they become overgrown and cover the sidewalks. Dog poop bags are left in piles by the front doors and the owners/management doesn't look into who has the disgusting habit. There is no privacy because the front doors are thin and hollow, so you can hear everything through them- and I mean EVERYTHING. You can smell cigarettes, weed and other people's cooking in your apartment. They refuse to properly fix air conditioner units in the heat of the summer with only 1 or 2 windows that open and threaten residents with a lawsuit when the resident tells them they they are paying for the air conditioner to be repaired and taking the cost put of the rent. They also put a "bandaid" on leaking plumbing issues, resulting in water constantly leaking into the apartments below and mold growth. The pool and gym cost additional money, but the pool is never open all summer. It is frequently closed because it isn't properly cleaned and maintained, resulting in the water turning green. You also can't use the grills unless you pay to use the pool. StoneHill Apartments is a 0/10 I do not recommend.

Worst place to live..

This place is the worst place to live had a leak in my apartment for over a week they just let it leak all over the place they block me from paying my rent online to make it harder for me to pay and the answer was just because they could. The amount of trash that is all over the place is absolutely ridiculous The dog park half of it is covered in trash you don't even want to let your dog run around in it because you don't know what they could eat. I could go on and on I cannot wait to get out of ...

Regrettably , our previous property manager departed, resulting in a temporary backlog of unresolved issues. However, we have since regained control and are diligently addressing each matter on a case-by-case basis. terrible complex

If you’re ok with mold, roaches, and water leaks this is the right place for you! They’re listed as upscale apartments yet they’re far from it. Cabinetry is weathered and worn, rust around the sinks. Pests upon move in. Management is atrocious and can care less about the residents who live here. They don’t fix any problems but they’re quick to ask for rent come the first.

Way to much money for old apartment, they up the rent but don't do anything in the apartment. When you need something done you can never get anyone in the office. I have had water in my apartment for 2 days now and have heard nothing from them. I can't wait to move.

So me and my husband have been living here since 2016 and we've had our share of different managers. And I can say I don't recommend it here, the dumpster area isn't great and most of the time is messy. Also, you have to pay for everything no utilities are included. And the lack of storage here is ridiculous. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to live I would look elsewhere which is what I am doing.

I just moved in about two weeks ago. The process was very easy and the communication with the manager was great. The apartment is absolutely beautiful with the light gray laminate wood floors the bathroom is extremely roomy, and the kitchen is gorgeous with all new fixtures and stainless steel appliances. I came from a previous apartment that constantly had leaks and was extremely outdated. This is definitely an upgrade for me and my family. I would highly recommend Stone Hill Apartments.

Nice Size apartment but poor management

I lived here for about a year and a half and moved in, in February. At that time the place was very nice! It quickly began to go down hill. As a dog owner it was great that they have a large dog park! But beware the photos about are NOTHING like what the dog park looks like. There is one corner of grass and the rest of the park is dirt. The trash is overflowing constantly all around the complex with dog poop, which smells so nice! And that’s from those who actually DO clean up after their dogs!! ...

Apartment flooded from above about 6 weeks after moving in and it took over 3 weeks for it to be fixed. Which they did a crappy job repairing! If your neighbor smokes the smell will pour into your apartment. Abandoned vehicles are all over the property even though they claim to have started towing them. And the dumpster area is downright disgusting. Trash is even piled up next to the maintenance shed which is great if guy want to give mice a home! If you want a large apartment though this is your place.

Thank you for your feedback. As the property manager, I can honestly say, our maintenance team does their best to keep the grounds looking and smelling clean at all times and with the help of everyone in the community this could be a win/win outcome. Regarding the dog park, we are working on getting proposals to get the park looking good again but this is something that again takes a community effort. If the dog park is used as a restroom for pets, there is no way to keep the grass growing nicely...over time, balding is going to happen again. Regarding the flood that you experienced, I would be more then happy to take a look at the repair work that was done in your apartment and come up with a remedy on how to address it. We love our 2 bedroom apartment. It's centrally located in a great business area. The grounds are well kept and neighbors are friendly. Rachel, Office Manager is terrific along with Jerry in the maintenance. I would recommend Stone Hill Apartmenta to everyone who is looking for a wonderful place to live, with or without children. It's located in a good school district and provides wonderful amenities on the property. Try it, you won't be sorry.

My husband and I have been renters @ Stone Hill Apartments for the past almost 4 yrs. We have found it to be in a great location with banks, fast foods, pharmacies and markets in close fascinity. It has low maintenance. Should problems occur, maintenance personnel is quick, friendly and respectful. The apartment itself is pretty up to date and management is constantly up dating the property. Stone hill is one of the best apartments in Brookhaven area. I have been living here from last 6 years. New management has made lot of good changes recently like new children’s park, dog park, well maintained Swimming pool and gym. All major grocery stores, restaurants, Walgreens, cvs are within 2 miles. People are nice and no nuisance. I feel very safe here. I highly recommend this apartment. -Vidhin shah

The community is very friendly and a few of my neighbors introduced themselves right away and made me feel welcome. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and you're close to grocery stores, a gym, gas, and food. The property is kept clean and the amenities are great! The office staff is responsive and very friendly and are actually willing to work with you to get you exactly what you need. I would recommend this place to anyone.
