January 20, 2018I've lived here since fall. 2 weeks in there was a shooting!!! The great thing is the shooter was caught and evicted. The apartments are nice,spacious, and full stocked with amenities. The staff is very welcoming and friendly! The apartments themselves are great,however there are no alarms in the units so I do feel unsafe at times even with the gated entry. The neighborhood is nice however the neighbors across from me physically fight every other week,to the point where it escalates outside the ...hallway. I go in and out rarely speaking to anyone and spend as little of time possible at home. Overall minus certain tenants and cons...it's home until my lease is up.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 31, 2015The biggest flaw of the apartment complex is that you can't take your trash out on weekends. Stoneleigh on Cartwright is an awesome home!
September 28, 2013My family and I have lived here since 2007. The property is always will kept, we are lead by a great management staff and maintenance is always a phone call away. Family nights are always fun...this allows you to meet others who live here which creates new friendships! This allows you to know who your neighbors are so that we can look out for one another and the property. The property is close to schools, grocery stores, the mall/shopping centers and to I635. Love The Community All Together!
October 4, 2013I have been living here for a year this month (Oct. 2013), and I am inlove! I moved up here with my husband not knowing what to expect cause I am from a small town in East Texas, and I was 6mnth pregnant. The staff had welcomed me with arms wide open, with comfort and guidance. They even let me get married by the pool in the apartments. (Just as them about it, its a true story!) Now, my daughter is 8mnths old and they claim her as her own. They have taken us as their family. The staff will do ...anything they can to make sure you are happy! My husband and I have signed a lease for 2 more years! I am just so happy here and this is my home and it is very safe for my daughter to grow up here! The maintence is amazing! They are always there when you need them and do the job right! The grounds are always kept very nice, which is a must for me cause I love to live in a place that is kept nice. There are always so many activities going on with the community in the apartments which keeps us all knowing one another! September 28, 2013If you're looking for outstanding apartment living in the Mesquite/Balch Springs area you should only consider Stoneleigh on Cartwright! Cathy and Tamara in the office and Miguel in maintenance are by far the best I've ever dealt with (and I've moved around the country 17 times!!). The apartments themselves are very spacious and well appointed. The ONLY reason I'm leaving Stoneleigh is due to a work transfer. BY FAR...THE BEST APT'S IN MESQUITE/BALCH SPRINGS AREA
September 30, 2013I looked at every complex within a 5+ mile radius of Stoneleigh prior to choosing them as HOME, for my son and I. It has proved to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. My primary reasons for choosing Stoneleigh was the location, the price, amenities and finally the Staff. From my first meeting with the staff, I was treated as if I were already a resident. They were very helpful in every way, by being very prompt in responding to any issues that I've had regarding the need for maintenance ...service or otherwise. The (2) gentlemen that are repsonsible for maintenance service calls are the best I've ever experienced within an apartment complex. Don't know how they are able to do as much as they do. But they do a great job! The complex is very quiet and there are several law enforcement officers from different departments throughout the immediate area that call Stoneleigh home as well. I love living here
September 27, 2013I have lived here for 5 1/2 years and really love the community. From the very first day that I moved in it has been very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The office staff are professional and courtious at all times no matter what time you call or stop by the office. The maintenance people are always prompt and if something needs fixed they are right on it. The Community is kept clean at all times.
