June 21, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comThe older buildings suck. I know they're cheap but please don't rent an apartment in the older buildings... So far there has been a millipede infestation, at least 4 water leaks (that they had to shut off everyone's water for). Oh and the water shut offs can last up to 2 days. I'm on the second floor and unfortunately I can hear my upstairs neighbors every move. No matter how light you walk, the floor will creak. The dishwasher doesn't even fill up with water, it just gets warm. The toilets are ...tiny and rusty. Oh and the toilet tank randomly overflows. The entire building shakes when someone's washer is on the spin cycle. please don't rent here, I don't care how cheap it is. It's awful. If you value your mental health please stay away from this place.Read More

I’ve had leaking since I‘be gotten here that goes from 3rd floor unit to the 1st. I’m in the middle. They patched it up, but there is so much mold going throughout every inch of this apartment. I didn’t resign my lease and I’m on a monthly agreement. Every month they come up with new charges. They don’t let you see a record of charges once they’ve paid. So if I don’t check before my automatic draft, then I have no idea ...what they’ve charged me for. Then they’ll make up things and make up reasons why they had to charge you a fee. Always a quick turnaround time from maintenance requests. The rent was reasonable compared to other comparable local apartment complexes. Cable, pest control, and waste disposal was included in the rent. You can tell by the amount of employees on site daily maintenance and landscaping is top priority. Plenty for family to do on campus with the swimming pool, exercise room and ...tennis/basketball court. Swimming pool is monitored as residents are provided a pool pass. Also, never had problems with parking. I only moved because I bought a house but I would definitely recommend StoneyBrook Apartments.Read More

October 22, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comIf there was an option for no stars, that is what they would get. Stoney Brook is NOT SAFE. I have lived here over a year now and this has been the worst complex I've lived in. There are police out here & that's not just patrolling the area. They are always getting called out there. Since I've lived here, the things that I know of, there has been a truck stolen, someone has pulled a gun out on someone due to driving to slow (wth), apartments being broken into & property being stolen, women being ...harassed by men outside. It is not a safe place you want to live. This would be a case of "looks can be deceiving" Also, people don't pick up there pets poo, there are roaches everywhere. As soon as you walk outside you can see them scatter. They are also inside along with gnats (which I think are coming through my sink). But that's what happens when you live around people that are nasty and don't take care of their home. I am disgusted by this place and will be very excited when my lease is up.Read More

August 1, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comStoney Brook Apartment was great from the start. The leasing staff made you feel welcome from start and work to make the entire move in process easy. I have been here for a few months, pool are great for kids, with basketball and tennis courts for them to plays to. Exercise and Landry rooms clean have good equipment. Apartment are clean and well maintained and grounds are being upgraded and are looking awesome. Altogether an great place to live.

That is the way I was treated from the first inquiring phone call to the last stage of signing my lease. The location is literally a few minutes from major interstates, yet it is nestled off-site in an areas surrounded by trees. It has a beautiful pool with nice outdoor furnishing, which is adjacent to the clubhouse that can be used by tenants. The units that I saw, and mine, are well maintained inside. The facilities are great have a pool, tennis courts and fitness gym. Very clean streets and nice neighborhood. So convenient everything you need is right across the interstate which is like a mile from your door. Loving life here at the Stoney Brook.
