We had a great experience renting the furnished apartment at Strawberry Ridge for the summer. Linda was great to work with and answered every question we had. The apartment furnishings, carpets and appliances had recently been updated and everything was perfect. We had rented an unfinished apartment for 6 months about 10 years prior and we remembered Claire telling us they had a furnished rental so when we decided to come to NY for an extended summer trip we contacted them to see if it was ...

Great apartments great price

To start, Linda in the office was such a sweet and personable lady. She helped us from start to finish and was always there if we needed anything. And was truly such a blessing. You could tell she truly cared about the residents! all of the maintenance staff were also super sweet and everyone was on top of any issues that arose. We lived in our apartment for a year and truthfully we’ll miss it. Highly recommend this complex and everyone that works there are such great people.

Took away my storage.

After five years, they took away our access to storage on the complex. We had our bikes and our camping equipment in storage and we were able to use it for five years. Then after we re-signed our lease for a year, they said that we hadn’t no longer access to the storage locations. We now have to find a separate location to rent. They absolutely pulled the rug out from under us. It was not OK. Really felt like a dirty move.

Clean, Safe, and Comfortable, but With a Few Issues

We needed to find an apartment with a week’s notice in May 2019 and Claire was extremely nice and helpful with our last minute move. The complex is safe, clean, and comfortable, and all of the grass was great for our dog. The neighborhood behind the complex is great for walking a dog or biking, and there is a playground in that neighborhood about a 15 minute walk away. Maintenance always came very quickly when we had an issue, sometimes within 20 minutes of us calling. Overall, we had a great ...

experience living at Strawberry Ridge and moved because we were looking for some amenities that Strawberry Ridge doesn’t offer. There were a few negatives about the complex, although minor. The apartments do not have in-unit laundry, but there are 2 laundry rooms in each part of the complex. The laundry rooms do not have coin machines, though, and the driers required multiple cycles to fully dry our clothes. Because of this, we ended up going to a nearby laundromat most of the time. We also had consistent problems with our dishwasher not draining properly, which maintenance tried to fix but was unable to. We ended up hand washing our dishes for the last couple of months of our lease. In our unit, the bedroom closet also had the furnace/water heater. This took up about half of our closet space and was extremely loud. The first few nights we would wake up every time it turned on. It also made our room extremely hot and dry, to the point that we slept with a fan on year round, which drove up our energy bill. I would recommend Strawberry Ridge to anybody that is looking for an affordable apartment that is clean and in a very safe area.

to whom this may concern just to let you no i would never refer these apts to any one or any of my friends that are looking for a place because your apts are not wht you say there are there are not luxurious either and you dont keep up with the fixing of the apts either even when they need to be fixed such as kitchen cabinets are as old as 60 yrs old or so and all beat up and the bathrooms are so out dated its crazy and the grounds are very ugly and not seasonally kept up or festive either the ...

landscaping is terrible also and you wonder why you dont keep people too long in there . and you raise the rents so terrblely high on people that really cant pay that much either you really need to take look at what you are doing there and what they really look like and wonder what the real problems are they and its not proplerly lighted there either . hope you do look into your problems there or you will loose alot of people in the months to come ...
