– they kept my deposit for no reason

I had a very disappointing experience with Ash Tree Apartments. After I moved out, they refused to return my security deposit and gave no clear reason for it. I tried reaching out multiple times, but they were unhelpful and unprofessional. I’ve already let other students and the local student community know about my experience so they can be aware before renting here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants a fair and stress-free rental experience.

Requested multiple maintenance requests & they would come look at it & never fix anything but I would receive text messages that my service requests were completed. Moved in march 1st & had to leave at the beginning of June because we had leaking pipes in the hallway & no hot water in the shower the entire time we rented there. Were told by management we’d receive our washer/dryer when we moved in & every time we’d ask for an update they would say it was on “back order”. No washer/dryer, no hot ...

This place it’s okay but there maintenance suck.. they will come and look at your order just once but after that they won’t come back we have work order since we moved in on Dec and our ac in the master room not working. I hope they get better maintenance ppl.

I’ve been living at this complex for 3 years now and have always felt safe. The staff really care about their tenants’ needs and are prompt when providing assistance. The apartments are well built and the on-site laundromat isn’t a faraway walk from one’s own door. I’d highly recommend leasing here.
