COCKROACH HAVEN
October 25, 2024This place is roach infested! If you live here you will have roaches crawling all over everything you eat and wear! I called and complained about it and they denied there was a roach problem at all. They also have a policy about visitor parking that is unheard of anywhere else. If you live here anyone who visits you has to pay .50 cents an hour to park or be towed. They are literally charging people to visit you. You have to download an app to do this. Elderly visitors will be towed! The ...towing company they use is an hour away and the fee to get your car is $260.00, if you pay cash. The on site management will tell you they have nothing to do with it BUT the towing company is hired by the complex. It's a flat out lie they have nothing to do with it. They will give a sob story they feel bad meanwhile you have to get a ride an hour away and part with $260.00 of your money. NEVER live here or visit anyone living there! The cockroaches are so bad you can literally sit and watch them multiply! I almost forgot while in your apartment you can listen to the gunshots outside. The place is not safe. Summerlin Apartments will say please email them so they can work on the issue. It’s a flat out lie! I emailed management directly over three months ago and I still have no response. They have no interest in fixing anything or working any issue. They will do as they please with your credit and livelihood. This complex is deceitful, sneaky and downright dishonest. It's scary that this place has access and capability to ruin your credit if they choose to. I've heard of them doing this. Don't give them access to your credit! They will make you regret it. Just recently they threatened a family with two small children to evict them for not paying their rent. When the tenant notified them they paid, and on time, it was their clerical error. Zero apology! They threatened them with a 10 day eviction. They were about to be put out on the street homeless with small children. Renters beware run from this place!Property Manager Responded

Not Family Friendly
September 1, 2022I am a current resident and have lived here since November 2018. When I moved here this was a family and socially acceptable place. Now new management has taken over and they raise the rent for an outdated apartment if you have family or friends that want to visit you it will cost you $.25 a half hour plus a 16% convenience fee or your visitors car will be towed. I had my Fiancés rental car that was towed and was told by the towing company it was a nice car and that’s why it was targeted. ...This place is a wonderful place to live if you have no friends and no family and want to be left alone but if you are friendly and would like to have people over for dinner it will cost you and that’s even if you can find a visitor spot their are 30 visitor spot for well over 100 apartments. I will be leaving here in May of 2023 when my lease expires they got me good by having me sign my lease renewal then 2 weeks after announce visitors aren’t welcome unless they payProperty Manager Responded

August 17, 2018Repair and maintenance services are very slow and jimmy rigged. Your apartment could look worse after work has been done, if work is done. Take plenty of pictures as proof for when you leave. The "fitness center" is a joke unfortunately so I still needed a gym membership. HORRIBLE
March 8, 2018You will probably see this same review on multiple sites because EVERYONE should know that this is an ok place to live, until you leave. These people WILL screw you.....they WILL ruin your credit and it's "just business" for the rental office staff after they've treated you like family and then turn on you when you leave. The shape and age of the buildings is terrible for the price and you can hear everything your neighbors say and do. It doesn't matter how long you've lived there, if the ...carpet is stained or anything, you will be charged for it when you leave. Their collection agency in Florida refuses to contact our attorney back.Property Manager Responded

You get what you pay for
October 16, 2017No Amenities - Don’t be fooled by the description… there isn’t a fitness center, picnic area, breakfast/coffee concierge, etc. No Services - The two office women are sweet as long as you don’t need something otherwise they are useless. There isn’t 24-hour services or “planned activities”... so don’t be fooled. The maintenance isn’t very timely either. The apartments are incredibly outdated and are falling apart. The water is horrible and you have no choice but to filter it. Parking is ...terrible. Several tenants have upwards of 4 cars for one person living there. Do yourself a favor and don’t give them your cell phone number. They send long rant text messages to everyone in the community several times a day. This is an older aged community and their hobby is gossip and they will complain about everything. September 25, 2017This is my first time renting an apartment i have always rented houses and i can not express how bad of experience i had leaving here for 6 months. My neighbor who is an older lady complained about every single thing about me ever since her granddaughter of 4 years old was up at 3 am running back and forth and i had to knock on her door and ask for her to stop because i have a r year old and a 9 month old my self that needed to continue their sleep.ever since that day she has found every detail ...to complain about to the point that i had to terminate the lease.
