I lived in this complex for 4 years just leaving this past July. The catalyst to my leaving was a neighbor climbing over the roof to my balcony, and the leasing office simply telling me that "safety is not in your lease". When I tried to break my lease early citing safety concerns they said if I did I would be charged for the early release. I waited 5 months to leave when my lease would naturally come to an end, and now they are charging me $1065.00 for "carpet cleaning". I have reached out to ...
the office and confirmed with Laura that this was simply a cleaning and not a replacement. I am waiting for the property manager to call me back. Regardless, I have very few good things to say as this complex is only concerned about their bottom dollar and not at all about the residents who entrust them with their money. There are dozens of other properties in the area to rent from, take my advice and spend your hard-earned money on one of them and avoid Summit at all costs.
