My move-in process was terrible and there was very poor communication between my leasing agent and I. I haven't even been here for an entire week and there are roaches everywhere. I don't recommend living here.

I have been renting/ leasing apartments for the past 5 years and have not had as poor as an experience as I have had here. When my wife and I first looked at the apartments the manager was very helpful but once we signed the lease the experience was completely different. When we came move in our belongings there was a STRONG paint smell at move in. My wife being pregnant we could not move in. To be nice we let that go. Then we did the initial walk through and the apartment had not been cleaned ...
move in. We were polite about it and the manager sent her make ready person that only brought a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels. So we just decided to clean our selves. We also had a few things that needed to be repaired in the apartment and after an 8 month lease they never got around to it. Even after we expressed to the manager our concerns and did a walk through again 6 months later. Needless to say our kindness was taken advantage of. These are not terrible apartments but the management staff lacks customer service.

When my husband and I first looked at these apartments the manager was so nice so we took a chance. After being here for 8 months I can say that this has been the worst apartment complex we have ever lived in. When we first moved in the apartment hadn’t been cleaned so they sent someone out with paper towels and windex? Then we put in maintenance request from the beginning and when we moved out in July they had not been completed fully. The manager did a walk thru to see what needed to be done ...
and get things STILL weren’t completed. Also, we had ants in our apartment and they were suppose to send out the carpet people since the ants were in the carpet and the people never showed up. I informed the manager and she never followed up! I have a newborn so trying to do tummy time was not fun & she knew we had a baby. I just am so disappointed in the customer service we received. Porsha is so rude and Rochelle really doesn’t remember anything to follow up with you. Overall I do not recommend living here. Apartment complex is going down hill.

These apartments are getting run down/old but the rent keeps going up. Amenities are a joke. The pool is falling apart, the hot tub never works, and good luck using the gym because it is the teenager hang out. Nobody picks up after their dog, so its nasty everywhere. Work orders are ignored and the office staff isn't concerned with resident issues. This place use to be nice and quiet. It isn't kept up anymore, and riff raff has moved in so there is constant thumping of loud music. Don't waste ...
your money here-its a waste! I'm giving 1 star since there isn't a "no star" option.

10 months ago I would have given this complex at least 4 stars. Presently, I give them a 1. Only because there is not a zero rating. There must have been a shift in management, as there is no longer an ounce of professionalism. The leasing office doors are locked by 530 when clearly the office hours are until 6. Other times the doors are locked sporadically with all employees inside talking on cell phones to, each other, etc. Makes it very difficult to pick up packages or resolve inquiries. If ...
indeed you are able to speak to someone in the office they are extremely unprofessional in appearance as well as attitude. There is no willingness to be of help or service to current or incoming residents. The grounds are unkempt, work orders are not given to maintenance, and maintenance is treated inferior. I'm ashamed to have witnessed this type of community. There have also been dead vermin by the mailboxes and stairs of buildings. Completely, intolerable.

The staff are very nice and they offer you many options that make it affordable for you. The apartment has trash service so they pick up the trash right outside your door, also it has pool, gym, tanning bed, car wash and dog park. The dog park is very small but they keep it clean. It is a small apartment complex but everyone is very nice and they stay to themselves so you don't have problems. I enjoy living here very much.

I've lived in Summit Ridge for almost two years now, and I'm having to move in a month since my job went elsewhere, which stinks because I really do love it here! It's a quiet community in an awesome location right off I-35, and both the neighbors and staff members are all wonderful.
Just some of the many positives include:
i live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my brother as my roommate, and the space is large and so nice! i especially love the joint bathroom/spacious walk-in closet.

i did have a tiny ant problem when i first moved in, they went away with one round of bug spray and since then, I've NEVER seen another bug, even in the summer months. This is good for me because I can be a little messy at times.
the maintenance staff is so fast and helpful! Our air conditioning went out in the afternoon one day in late May when it was already getting super hot, and my brother (who was home) went down to the office for help and they had it completely fixed by the time I got home from work.
the rent is VERY reasonable, considering how nice the apartments are, and there wasn't even an increase the first year, which was great! They'll even paint a wall for you, free of charge. (At least they did this when we moved in, I'm not 100% sure they still do it now)
The only real negative points I can think of are:
Our dishwater is pretty mediocre and barely cleans dishes, but in my experience, this is a problem in a lot of apartments.
There is a train track right beside the apartments, so if you live in a building close to it (like we do), you'll have to deal with some noticeable noise and shaking 3-4 times a day when trains go by. It's over quickly, though, and we got used to it fast.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the place and I'm sad to be leaving!
