Friendly Staff, Decent Amenities
June 16, 2025I’ve called Sun Lake Apartments home for several years now, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. While there have been changes in management over time, one constant has been the friendly and reliable maintenance staff. Leo and the rest of the team have always handled service requests with professionalism and kindness, which has made a big difference in day-to-day living. That said, the property does show signs of aging in some areas. In my unit, the carpets and cabinetry reflect years ...of use, and could benefit from an update. Living in Florida means pests are part of the landscape, but I’ve been dealing with a persistent issue for a few months now. I do appreciate the ongoing efforts from both management and their pest control partners—it’s clear they’re trying—but it’s still something I hope gets fully resolved soon. The community grounds are generally well-kept, and the natural setting around the lake is one of the highlights of the property. However, some of the lakeside benches could use a little love; rust and worn sealant make them less inviting than they could be. On a brighter note, the new gym facilities are excellent. The updated machines and addition of a heavy bag have made working out here a pleasure, and the pool is always in great condition. I also love the idea of kayak and canoe rentals—it’s a wonderful amenity in theory. In practice, though, the equipment sees little use, which has led to a buildup of insects that make it less appealing to take them out. With a bit more upkeep and encouragement, I think this could become a standout feature of the community. All in all, Sun Lake offers a lot to enjoy, especially thanks to the staff and recent facility improvements. With a few thoughtful updates, it could really shine even brighter. I look forward to seeing how the property continues to grow and improve.Property Manager Responded

I have enjoyed my time
December 4, 2024I have enjoyed my time at Sun Lake Apartments. Office staff is great, maintenance has been fine. Dont know why people complain, no problems here. Sad to leave, but I got relocated. good vibes
October 30, 2024The place is older but you cant beat the trees, lake and walking paths. I will take the country over city streets. Vibe is good, the office is nice and the people in it are good, I spoke with Sandra and Collin. Both nice. They do some stuff for the people too. Price is good.Property Manager Responded

Roach infested

great amenities
July 31, 2024This place has the best amenities. There is a lake you can use. 2 pools, even a pet parlor who does that. It also is a great value for the money. December 28, 2023I am appreciative of Nick in maintenance and Jaclyn in the office team at Sun Lake. There was a recent incident that involved a careless neighbor of mine, that effected my home. December 22, 2023Hey Guys I went for a tour her this week. Had a nice lady Sandra show me around. Lots of amenities and the 2 bedroom one bath looked real nice. I got quotes for my move in February. Good Place
December 20, 2023I have lived here for a while now and I have seen great improvements recently. The whole place has new roofs, any potholes are fixed right away. Office staff is always cheerful and greets me. If I have a questions, they answer it to my satisfaction. Pool area is nice. No complaints here.Property Manager Responded
