Upon initial month here it took a month to get my stove working. Upstairs neighbors were loud all night, smoked so much pot inside that my apartment smelt like a skunks rearend, ran their vacuum in the middle of the night, also appliances, leaving me without a solid nights sleep. Upon informing management I was told that was apartment living. True to their belief I was left to deal with that for a year. Being that my lease is up for renewal I spoke to management about renewing now that the ...

neighbors moved. Asked about my rent not drastically increasing due to what I had to live with on a daily basis this last year. Was told my rent should not increase by more than 25 to 50 dollars. I said I could live with that. Today I received a notice on my door giving me only the remainder of the day to decide if I want to stay with a nearly 300 dollar increase. I was completely mislead and now have no time to make a decision.

Cheap apartments for a crazy amount.. the office seem nice at first but once you move out they want to nickel and dime you for charges that are totally crap.. they are completely ridiculous and definitely not worth the price. Area is a not so good neighborhood and don’t recommend to anyone.

I saw that most of the reviews for this complex were several years old. I have lived in this complex for the past 3 years. The management changed and the new management is great, especially Lizette. Additionally, they care about their tenants' well-being and are not just about getting the monthly rent. They try to help in whatever way they can when they know a tenant is struggling. While I have lived here, I have never had any issues with roaches or other bugs. I had one issue with a ...

maintenance ticket that took forever and was for the refrigerator causing me to have to buy all new groceries BUT that was with the OLD management. Under the new management, I have never had an issue with maintenance tickets being completed quickly and completed right the first time. Both times I renewed my lease, the apartment complex worked with me to make my renewal easy and expressed how much they valued my business. I would not be leaving Sun Valley Ranch if I wasn't relocating to a new state for employment. If I ever move back to the Mesa area, I would return to this apartment complex. I definitely recommend these apartments if you're looking for an apartment in the Phoenix/Mesa area.

The complex isn't bad however there are several issues I have found over my 1 year stay. Myself and friends who live here have experienced leaking fridges. Another couple has an issue with an AC leak. Ants can be found all over the complex, some make their way inside the apartments. Now the biggest issue deals specifically with apartments that are closest to University Rd. You will hear every single vehicle on that road at all hours, every truck with all terrain tires, every car with a modified ...

exhaust, every motorcycle flying down the road. Keep in mind there is a fire station down the street so you will definitely hear sirens. University road is a very busy road that stays busy 24/7.

Terrible experience! Had to move in for six months while my house was being built. Had cockroaches the whole time, could never get rid of them. Rented a garage space and rainwater got in and ruined my things. Just terrible! Don't rent here!

This complex has the most friendly workers in all of its areas that really care about you as a person. They entire place including garages and outer walls have just been repainted in beautiful 2-tone colors they let us, the tenants vote on. Even our door colors. It looks great and the pools are both so wonderful with their Jacuzzis and a bar at one, with lots of tables chairs, and lounge chairs, or the fitness room is full of everything from A-Z and is 24 hours a day. clubhouse is awesome. Even though the apartments are so spacious and comfortable you feel like its your own personal house you may want to hang out up around the common area around all the really great stuff and awesome neighbors.

My wife and I appreciate the amenities that we didn't have before, such as in apartment laundry, air conditioning (a must in AZ), and all the counter and cabinet space in the kitchen. We appreciate the outside amenities as well, the pool, the spa (which is basically two massage chairs), and the gym. We shopped around and found that we couldn't get all this for the low price we are paying here.
