Beware of Loud Upstairs Neighbors and Unresponsive Management

I moved in November 2024 and immediately regretted it because of the constant stomping, banging, and heavy footsteps from the tenants upstairs. It’s so loud it feels like living beneath elephants.
Since then, I’ve emailed management multiple times with recordings and even provided a police incident number after calling in a late-night noise complaint. Their only response has been, “We’ll ask them to keep it down.” Nothing has ever improved. My most recent email wasn’t even acknowledged.

of this, I have never had a quiet evening after work or a peaceful day off. The noise is relentless, and I now dread being home. It feels retaliatory at this point, and the lack of response from management only makes it worse.
If you value peace, quiet, and responsive management, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Living here has only increased my anxiety, stress, and PTSD symptoms. The quality of life here is significantly reduced.

He has been mindful and has kept us updated on the steps he has taken to minimize household noise, including keeping his children quiet after your initial concerns. You provided us with video recordings for review, which were carefully evaluated by our onsite team and upper management. These recordings did not reveal excessive noise, but rather normal sounds that can sometimes occur within apartment living. For transparency, this determination was reviewed by multiple managers. Please know that each time you have contacted the office, we have addressed your concerns with your neighbor directly and remain committed to being responsive to your concerns. Been here 14 months. Management changed 4 months ago (January 2023) . Previous management was solid, punctual with responses and easy to work with. New management not so much. Changed twice and only let us know once. The new management does not really answer emails or voicemails. A bit frustrating really. Tried for two weeks to send in my 30 notice to vacate when my lease was ending. They told me they could not locate my emails and made me redo it for two weeks later so that was lame. Nice place ...
to live tho. Apartments are clean, mait. Guys are super cool, not a lot of traffic really but the parking sucks for visitors. Its been a nice place to live except for the management crew. I would recommend it.

I have lived at Sunridge Terrace for a little over a year. I had many changes going on in my life when I began looking for apartments in the fall of 2019. Debra, the Manager and Tianna, the Assistant Manager at the time were extremely helpful, accommodating and kind. I looked at so many apartments but kept going back to Sunridge Terrace because of Debra and Tianna. They are the main reason among many others as to why I chose Sunridge Terrace as my new home.

Sunridge Terrace is a beautiful community. Its close to I205, Clackamas Town Center, and many great restaurants, pubs and food carts.
