Great place!
March 31, 2026I had a really positive experience at Sur Lake Buena Vista. They quickly took care of changing both the air and water filters when I asked and even checked in to see if I had any other concerns. The pool and gym were great, and I even stopped by to grab coffee. March 28, 2026I give this place 4 stars because it’s a great community, moving in the correct direction I think. I’ve lived here for about 18-20 months. I have noticed there is an improvement in the overall maintenance and care of the units. There have been lots of things happening to improve the community, as well as the units. They have recently upped the game in pest control to target native Floridian pests. They have also improved the access gate handles and are working to make improvements to the ...community areas as well. Not to mention the maintenance team is on top of it! All of them. They’re so on top of it, they even stopped by to check why my water bill was so high.. because i just assumed i was watering my plants a bit more. Don’t be fooled by the look
March 26, 2026Don’t be fooled by the five-minute walk-through. At first glance, the community looks beautiful, but it’s built with low-quality materials and cheap appliances that quickly show their flaws once you move in. The neighborhood is full of families with very young children, which is great in theory, but in practice it means constant noise. If you have neighbors above or beside you, expect to hear running, screaming, and crying at all hours. The move-in process was frustrating and disorganized. We ...had to repeatedly contact the office just to get basic paperwork completed. The “welcome offers” were also confusing and inconsistent—first showing around $1,300 due, then jumping to over $2,700 with little explanation. On move-in day, the apartment was nowhere near ready. There was mold in the showers, no AC filter installed, an expired water filter, missing kitchen lights, and multiple doors that wouldn’t even latch or close properly. These are basic things that should have been addressed before handing over the keys. Despite management saying they want residents to feel comfortable, there was little to no follow-up after we documented and reported these issues. Communication and support were lacking when it mattered most. The pool and some amenities are nice, but not everything works as advertised. The electric grills are unreliable, and the fire pit is almost never operational. Overall, this place prioritizes appearance over quality and service.
