Great Location! Super close to the Beach!
January 9, 2026It's like 5 minutes from the Beaches Town Center in AB (by car) or a 10 min bike ride, it's such a good location!! And still close to everything else, intracoastal, groceries, etc. The property has super nice landscaping with palm trees and a super modern Clubhouse & Gym (the coffee in the clubhouse is SO good). Unsafe & Unhealthy
April 24, 2025Surf A1A apartments is located behind a used car dealership, off a dangerous road, in the most crime-ridden area of Mayport. The complex has no gates, no cameras, and zero security. Panhandlers go door-to-door every day, dumpster divers drop by every night, and other trespassers are always creeping around the property. Cops visit frequently for drugs, theft, and domestic violence. Needless to say, you won’t be feeling safe at night. There’s only two new buildings in the complex. All the older ...buildings flood during heavy rain. You can easily see the water stains where the floors meet the walls. The attics, interior, and HVAC system are filled with black mold, dust, and more bugs than you could possibly imagine. The buildings are also not up to code; e.g. stairs are only 8" deep. At first glance, the units seem nice, but you’ll soon discover it’s just lipstick on a pig, and the serious issues under the surface have been ignored for decades. Management does not enforce their own policies. There are multiple pure-bred pitbulls on the property, dozens of unregistered vehicles (many abandoned), loud music every night, and dog excrement scattered throughout every plot of grass. They also do not perform criminal background checks on any of their applicants, and many tenants sublease their apartments to large groups of questionable occupants. Awesome Staff and Neighbors
April 11, 2020We loved living at Mariner's. It's a safe area and community. All of our neighbors and the staff were wonderful. The area is clean and well maintained. November 18, 2017I William Brandt moved into Mariner Village Apartments in Feb 2016 and have enjoyed my living quarters !!! The staff and maintenance crew are attentive to your issues and concerns !!! They updated the pool with new furniture and the pool with new exterior issues !!! Weekly groundskeeping n landscaping !!! We seen all the drugs prostitutes, etc. In that time we have seen how Ron and christy have done a great job with cleaning. Samantha is synshine. Always smiling.
