The apartments themselves are decent and the neighborhood is fine, but the management side of things holds it back. Getting a hold of staff or getting maintenance issues resolved takes too much follow-up. It is a fair place to stay, but be prepared for some frustrations with communication.

It's something to get used to of course. But the one thing that truly bothers me is the trash all over the place outside. The pool is disgusting honestly. I don't believe they clean it. This place can really be a lovely apartments if it were better maintained. And with the amount of money the residents are paying to stay here it's kinda sad. In a better area I paid less and it was clean outside the pool was cleaned daily shut down for deep cleanings even. But here a kid pooped in the pool and ...

The community is not the cleanest. The dumpster was downsized a few months ago and they’re always overflowing now. There’s also dog poop on the sidewalk ALL THE TIME; I believe poop bags need to be installed in front of every staircase (front and back) and cameras need to be installed so these pet owners can fined and be help accountable.
Asked the leasing office why the property do not do annual inspections on units, been here four years and have never received one, they stated they don’t have ...
enough employees and the community is too big. But rent is affordable.

living at the Sweetwater Apartments has been wonderful starting from the time from when I applied, to getting my keys and getting settled in. the front office staff is amazing and super attentive and the maintenance is right on top of the task needed to be taken care of. For the most part, it is great. They put another apartment complex up next door and that is questionable. This community is getting better. I have lived here for almost 16 years and with a few set back, in management. It has gotten better.

I like it here but my neighbors upstairs are always banging on the floor like they’re working on stuff all day and night. There’s no use in making complaints because they just let the neighbor know and then it seems like they do it more.

Rent is affordable. Third pool hasn’t been repaired or filled since I moved in 2024 which is the one closest to my unit. Seems like the property management is trying to make improvements though.

My experiences has been okay except for every morning upstairs dog is huge and he barks so loud and I work night shift so it is very annoying in the morning to hear that big dog barking his foot like he's pulling down the walls and scratching up whatever door he's tired too
