28 Mice in 3 Weeks
February 7, 2024I am very dissatisfied with the way the apartment management handled the mice infestation in my unit. I had to deal with 28 mice in the span of three weeks, which caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. While maintenance brought some traps, I also had to buy my own traps and bait. When I asked for compensation (equivalent to a fraction of monthly rent) for the emotional and mental stress the situation caused, I was told to send photos of the mice and receipts for the traps. While the cost of traps ...was minimal, I typically do not take photos of dead mice. Tip for future and current renters with similar rodent infestations, take photos of everything from the get-go and save every receipt to send to management.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
DO NOT LIVE HERE
November 1, 2023It took them 9 months to fix a shattered window of mine, and only fixed the window after I called every day for weeks on end. The office staff were snarky and rude when I tried to speak to a manager about it. My bedroom was 20 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment because of this window, and I probably spent hundreds extra on trying to heat it during this time. TGM also REFUSES to do rental verifications for their current and previous tenants. I was denied an apartment and was almost ...homeless because this is the only complex I've ever lived in, and they would not confirm my rental history for the next complex. This should be illegal. I told them that I either get a verification from them, or I would potentially have nowhere to live, and all they could say was "it's against policy to fill it out". March 24, 2021Even if you fulfill you twelve month contract, you need a written sixty day notice. This means if you're about to leave at twelve months and you give your notice at the 11 month, you must pay another month. Even under extraneous situations.Review from Apartments.com
Suspect Charges + Poor Customer Service
October 19, 2020Hi Eureka and everyone at the business office! It's me with another review because no one at the office can answer an email or call me back. TGM is trying to pass off incredibly suspect carpet replacement charges when we were denied to be present in our final inspection. We took great care of our apartment and loved living here for a year, but the complete lack of professionalism and quite frankly poor business practices have soured my opinion of TGM. Oh, and by the way, all the amenities you ...pay a premium for? We had no access to them for six months because of COVID. TGM IS HORRIBLE
December 29, 2019I lived at this property for just over 11 years....many management companies during that time. TGM is by far the worst. The staff was...ok...some were quite rude, however...IF they even answered the phone! The renovations were not complete and the raise in rent was absurd. Landscaping in next to nothing so if you have a dog, be prepared to deal with very muddy feet as TGM has refused to deal with the landscaping. Huge renewal increases
March 31, 2019Want to rent at a newly and shoddily renovated community and get huge rent increases each year? Then TGM is the place for you! They hook you with a reasonable-ish rental rate, and then raise the rent $150.00 each year. And those renovations they tout? They were done so cheaply that most of the old stuff was better than the new. Check out the outlets--they wiggle because they're not properly installed, and/or the fixtures behind them are damaged. Absolutely no customer service at the ...office. The staff could simply care less about your concern or problem--they don't even make a show of acting concerned, the least one might expect. There are a lot of nice people here, but they're moving out as fast as they can manage. Good luck to you if you choose to rent here!Property Manager Responded
