January 9, 2026I’ve lived at the Griffin for about 5 years and have loved it but more recently have found things little have begun to go unfixed. 1 elevator has been out of service for months. At times the gym will go weeks without wipes to clean the equipment after use. And a few times in the last 12 months the trash shoots have been blocked causing trash to pile up in the trash rooms. Most concerning is currently the front doors are broke and have been for over a week. Previously I had almost no issues with ...the building over the years but it’s just a serious of things recently that has me rethinking things.Property Manager Responded

August 28, 2025I give a 4 star review due to the change in the closing of many stores that were here for the first first couple of years I moved here. Chestnut street has changed . I have been in the griffin for 10 years . Seen lots of changes with management and front desk personal . The staff we have now are terrific . Zach really takes great pride in his job and runs a great team. Maintenance is hands down extremely efficient! The front desk people are just ok. Some of the staff can do a lot ...better. The true heartbeat of the building is the manager, Michelle—she goes above and beyond every single day to make residents feel at home. From organizing fun community events to always being available and approachable, Michelle’s dedication to this building makes for a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s hard to find at a center city apartment building. This apartment would not be the same without Michelle, no doubt about it. The ...maintenance staff here is also top-notch. They are not only skilled and efficient at what they do, but they’re also very responsive—every maintenance request I’ve submitted has been handled within the day. The building itself is always clean and well kept, and it’s clear that management is committed to constant improvement & upgrades.
