  • Beautiful place, poor construction

    I am writing an honest review of the Neil apartments in Mount Laurel. First, the Neil is conveniently located close to turnpike, 20mins from Philly, and so close to all south jersey has to offer. The building itself is beautiful and the amenities are very nice inside the apartments, but don’t let this fool you. I can loudly hear my neighbors above and below talking like they are in my living room and stomping above me like dinosaurs. I honestly don’t even think it is the neighbors fault, but the ...
    cheap and poor construction of the Neil. I complained and at first they seemed to acknowledge the noise complaints and said they would speak to the residents and also see if maintenance could fix the problem. Then when nothing could be done the tune changed to “these are ordinary apartment noises”. I have lived in a few apartments in my lifetime and I have never heard this much noise. THESE APARTMENTS are PRETTY but CHEAPLY BUILT!!! I am just warning you. I’m not a disgruntled tenant, but just don’t want anyone to go through what I am at this complex. If you appreciate peace and quiet these apartments are not for you! I have spoken to other tenants who feel the same, but the office will assure you they don’t receive noise complaints. Just warning you!

  • Not a Good Company to Rent From or a Great Place to Rent

    This property has not had the best track record since moving in here. We are constantly lied to by the people who work in the office because half the time they have no idea what this going on. When we moved into the place they apartment was not fully finished with things from holes in the walls to deep scratch's in the floor. It has been over five months of living here and things have not been fixed from day one. When we call the maintenance office they inform us that if we put it on our ...
    check in than the buildings maintenance will get around to it when they can and one of the ladies that works there seems like you are inconveniencing her when you call. There are a ton of fees that were not disclosed from before we signed our lease. The people at the Davis Property main office are some of the worst people to deal with, they will tell you they will get back to you in a few hours and they never do, you end up having to call them back to get the response "Oh I was about to call you." My favorite thing that has happened since we moved in is that they building had a temporary occupancies permeant because their elevator could not pass the multiple inspection it had undergone, forcing people to have to us the stairs for 2 months. One day we came back to a note on the door that stated "Unsafe Place, DO NOT ENTER" which resulted in everyone being forced out of their apartment until they were able to get it to pass. All in all, I regret renting from this company and will avoid renting from their properties in the future.
