My experience as a single female in her 20s living at Talavera was horrible. I did not feel safe and had numerous issues. My air conditioning didn’t work, the apartment had cockroaches and insect problems, I installed security cameras that were frequently tampered with, and my neighbors had many people coming and going at all hours, to name a few of the issues. because I no longer believed I was safe and Talavera charged me rent for an additional 30 days and a termination fee equal to 2 months rent for breaking my lease a few months early. They made no accommodations for my situation, took no responsibility and just told me that crime is not their problem. I would not recommend this apartment complex under any circumstances.

Unfortunately, crime has no zip code, and we are not immune to such activity despite the many deterrents we have in place. We will continue working together with local law enforcement and our courtesy patrol to limit these situations from happening in the future. Regarding your maintenance concerns, it appears your air conditioner was fixed within two days. We also offer complementary pest control every week, but it doesn't appear we received any requests from you.
