Management shenanigans, and fees

I lived at this apartment complex several years ago. The apartments were relatively nice, and the area was quiet and pleasant. On my move-in date, the office was unexpectedly closed. I had to reschedule my entire move, which was costly an incredibly inconvenient. Unfortunately, management issues and excessive fees overshadowed the positives. Ground-floor units had moisture problems, and my move-in was mishandled when the office was unexpectedly closed, forcing me to reschedule. For pet owners, ...

management required dog DNA swabs to track pet waste and charged residents based on the results, which felt invasive. At move-out, I was charged an unreasonable amount for minor carpet stains that should have been considered normal wear and tear. Between surprise fees and poor management practices, it often felt like residents were being nickel-and-dimed

Not very considerate to your situation

I work for the Federal Government and had a short notice transfer (literally a weeks notice). They charged me the 3 months cancellation fee per the lease agreement but also charged me for the 60 days I wasn't able to give them. Keep in mind I was always on time or early on my rent and never provided and issues to them. Just not very considerate to your situation, only after your money.

Management is horrible this complex has had 3 different management in the two years its been open and the current management AR building company is the worse. Fees are extremely high there is a monthly 90 fee added to you rent because management decided to buy bulk cable for the whole community. No more 12 month lease 18 month lease only or a fee... this community should be called fee at Taylor Point because management is always putting notices on the door threatening fees. The "fitness center" ...

includes 3 machines, the pool is between three building and wooded area so its all shade allowing little to no sun.

I have lived here for two years now and management is terrible. Thats not what you would pay in rent. There is a $25 ancillary fee, and now you have to subscribe to their bulk cable/internet services. I had a maintenance issue that took three months to be dealt with and no apology was ever given. Electricity is crazy expensive. Even our message board is just full of unhappy residences. Don't move here.

This is a great community to live in. The location is awesome, being right next to Levis Commons where there is shopping, restaurants, movie theatre and night life. The apartment community has great perks, like an awesome pool, fitness center and entertainment. They put on events every so often to get the residents out and meet one another. sitting out. The apartment has nice amenities like a washer and dryer in the unity. The big garden tub is one of my favorite upgrades! Whenever we've had to call the maintenance they have always been very nice and fix whatever is wrong in a timely manner. The apartments are pretty well soundproofed. I don't really hear our neighbors. Its nice to have open parking so we dont have to worry about friends and family coming over. The price point is the biggest thing. The only reason we'll be leaving is so we can rent somewhere a little cheaper to save some money for a downpayment.

Great location, a little small for the price but obviously location location location. I enjoy walking to shops and dinner and love the pool. Maybe a tish bit cheap in terms of construction and materials but I get why. Overall a great place with great residents and staff.
