    I recently toured The Alaire while beginning my apartment search journey, and I wanted to specifically highlight what a great experience I had with Sean Broadie. Sean was by far the best leasing consultant I’ve encountered so far during my tours. He was warm, personable, knowledgeable, proactive with information, and asked thoughtful questions to truly understand how I would use the space and what mattered most to me in a future home. You can also tell he has genuine relationships with the ...
    residents — so many people greeted him by name, which says a lot about the community atmosphere there. I also really appreciated that this was a guided tour experience. After experiencing both guided and self-guided tours recently, I can confidently say the guided approach makes a HUGE difference. Having someone knowledgeable walk through the property with you, answer questions in real time, provide context, and help you envision daily living adds so much value and creates a far more welcoming and personal experience. I sincerely hope properties like The Alaire continue offering guided tours and do not move away from them. The property itself had a warm, relaxed feel compared to some others I toured. I especially liked the updated apartment models, kitchen layouts, overall flow of the apartments, and the sense of community throughout the property. Definitely one of my top contenders so far in my search.

    Living here has been one nightmare after another. The building has two elevators, one was broken for months, the other intermittently stopped working, so consider that if you need accessible accommodations. People don't clean up after their pets and the staircases to the parking deck stink and are genuinely filthy. Cops interviewed me after a break in at the parking garage and management never sent an email to inform residents of the break in or attempted assault (the car's owner discovered the ...
    break-in). Plan to move out the day the lease expires because if you intend to switch to month-to-month, they literally extort you - monthly rent will exceed a 200% increase.

    Sean was very attentive to our visit. We were greeted right away and felt very welcomed and comfortable while not being pressured at all. Great customer service to say the least and a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Sean was able to even answer questions about the high school and bus stop that my son would have to use.     It was great living in alair, very accessible and easy to roam around. I enjoyed walking and biking around the area. The only problem is the noise in the apartment. You can hear any noise from side, down and up.

    Living quality continues to decline at the Alaire. Location is great and it’s a nice apartment but they really need to do something about the smell from building 1100 garage. The doorway from garage to apartment smells like HEAVY weed and puke. It’s like dc metro smell. For the rent amount, it’s ridiculous that they are letting this go on for more than a year. They don’t really do anything besides sending out an email saying the apartment is supposed to be smoke free. Well how about installing ...
    security cameras or something because someone’s consistantly smoking in the stairway? Building management level is just way beyond the expectations.

    Front desk staff was unprofessional and unpleasant. They have trouble keeping track of resident records and information, and then blame the resident when brought up to management.

    Living at the alaire has been great, at first there were some issues when the change of management happened with things such as packages being left out without anyone to receive them, but now I think that they went back to being great. Never had an issue with pests at all, clean apartments, beautiful, and maintainance comes fast when you need help

    I’ve been living at the alaire for over 6 years and it’s been nice I enjoy being close to everything such as the train station and many stores
