The Management Company is HORRIBLE

Our experience at this property has been a nightmare since day one. We've had countless maintenance requests which were never completed and we had to fix ourselves at our own expense (leaking bathroom plumbing, leaking refrigerator, roach infestation, etc.). The leasing office seldom answers the phone during regular business hours and takes days to respond to respond to emails (if at all). When they do respond, their tone is always very condescending and frequently bullying in tone.
Today (July ...
18) is our last day, and we were looking forward to finally being free from this wretched place. Unfortunately, we when went to the leasing office to turn in our keys, we were informed that all tenants on the lease needed to be present for this or we would continue to be charged rent (even though 1) this is not mentioned anywhere in the lease [yes, we read it in its entirety]; and 2) no one is in the apartment [two tenants have left the area and the third has been in another apartment for a month [shows how badly they wanted out of this dump]; and 3) even if any of the tenants wanted to squat in this apartment, they can't as the apartments no longer use keys but have keypad entries which will surely have their codes changed post-haste.
We are forced to pursue legal action against this company and this particular property. Do yourself a favor: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY.
