November 11, 2025I have lived at The Ardea in 2012 for a couple of years and my husband and I moved back in August 2024. My husband and I have lived in 4 different layouts. All of the layouts have been excellent, but we really love the 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, in the 10 stack. The staff here are the most wonderful people. They have shown genuine kindness and always help out in any way they can. The gym is amazing! I love all of the different types of equipment offered in it. The community Room is lovely and ...perfect for small gatherings.The other residents that I have met or interacted with have been typically very kind. There are many residents with dogs of all sizes and are pretty well-behaved. The Ardea always has treats for the big dogs and the little dogs, which our Great Dane, Green Bean, loves! The Ardea is located in the perfect spot for my husband and I. It's close to OHSU, there are a couple of outstanding coffee shops, the restaurants have phenominal food. There are two grocery stores near the building. The veterinarian and staff at Wildwood Vet are the BEST! There are doggie daycares nearby that offer grooming and boarding services also. The Ardea is a beautiful place to live with apartments that are beautiful with lovely finishes. It's quiet and safe with a staff that are the best!Property Manager Responded

October 27, 2025The parking structure is filthy and a health hazard. When we are at our vehicle and another vehicle passes, dust blows over us and creates a health hazard, not only from aspiration of dust particles, but also by blanketing us with microscopic organisms present in the dust such as dust mites for which I am being treated by a physician for the first time in my life. Since this building was purchased several years ago, the new owners put in new carpeting, but have failed to maintain its cleanliness. ...The people who vacuum the carpet use improper equipment (a backpack shop vac) instead of a floor vacuum with beater bars which must be used on carpets. The time spent vacuuming on our floor averages less than 60 seconds to clean the entire floor, leaving behind debris and microscopic organisms from the many animals and people who reside here. When exiting the elevator, our floor often has an unpleasant odor, embarrassing when being visited by friends or family. For the exorbitant rent we pay this is totally unacceptable.Property Manager Responded

July 8, 2025This is our second time living in the Ardea, the first time in 2010. We like our corner unit great cross ventilation. Unit is dated, no changes in the past 14 years, kitchen cabinets a bit tattered could use newer ones or a proper makeover. Refrigerator and appliances could stand an upgrade. May 30, 2025I’ve been at The Ardea for 2 years now and I absolutely love it here. I feel safe in the South Waterfront and frequently walk in the early evening. As a 65 year old woman, that means a lot. There are some great restaurants, beautiful parks and a greenway that goes for miles.
