A few exceptions
April 20, 2026Overall, Artisan is a good place to live. The safe are friendly. The grounds are well kept and, I feel safe here. However, the rent is excessive. As a single person, it's tough to afford. Also, there are flooding issues on the outside of the leasing building that, although looked into, have not been corrected to date. There seems to be plenty of money for landscaping and additions but not for fixing this serious issue. I am happy here for the most part. The apartments are very cozy and, above all, clean. I think they should improve the maintenance and cleaning of the stairs a little, something you find everywhere. Great Experience
November 19, 2024The property was recently taken over by new owners and what a huge improvement! They have added some great amenities, renovated all of the apartments inside, (we got new granite and appliances and really sleek lighting fixtures) and they have fixed a lot of issues on the property that the last owner just blew off. Pest control comes weekly now so this is no longer a problem, and maintenance is so much better. The front office people are very pleasant and go out of their way to be helpful. August 8, 2024Just don’t move here. These people are shady. Currently they’re now saying we will be paying for water for what we use. However, how are they to know what my usage is if there isn’t a meter for each individual unit? It would cost a ton of money to even have meters installed. Already I’m paying $80 a month for water anyways which is too much. Who knows what they may try and charge me with no proof? I barely use that much water to begin with. We are going month to month and finding somewhere else ...to live because this place is going down. No amount to renovations is going to help their cause. Disappointed
July 10, 2023So disappointed with this place! We rented a three bedroom because we have children. First, the apartment was not move in ready. I literally had to clean and paint the cabinets in the kitchen (have pictures to prove it). Second, we had ac and mold issues (also have pictures). Third, now our clothes dryer has been broken for 2 weeks? Even after many requests to fix it. Just to let you know they make you use their washers/dryers here, as per the lease agreement. You pay a monthly fee for a ...washer/dryer instead of allowing you to bring your own. I had to sell my new washer and dryer because of this. Since the time their clothes dryer quit working, I have sent emails and have also been to the office in person, with many request to fix THEIR clothes dryer. It's been two weeks and I'm still hanging clothes to dry in my apartment that don't dry because of the AC issues! Now we are being told that because the staff keeps changing/disappearing, there is only one maintenance guy here. Why am I as a renter being told this? Awful place
July 9, 2023They are raising everyone’s rent skyrocket high.. a neighbor of mine went up $550. The people who have lived here for years are moving out because the rent is to high! They want super high rent with very little amenities here! We do not have a gym, community room, no business center, no gated community, etc… we do have a pool which isn’t taken care of properly, the bathrooms at the pool are always filthy, hardly ever stocked.. to use the fire pit you have to carry the wood past the pool just to ...get to the pit. Who wants to carry wood that far. I certainly don’t. The playground is geared towards small children, so no swings…, they say we have a volleyball court, which we don’t. Property management company sucks
July 12, 2020Let me start by saying that the actual staff that manage and repair the facility are quite nice, amicable, and competent. The company they are all employed by though is infuriatingly cheap. They can't afford to pay for the upgrades required to keep the swimming pool area safe, but they can afford to pay for weekend remodeling of the office and sample apartment that no one is allowed into because of social distancing requirements.
