DO NOT live here. I would strongly caution anyone considering living here to think carefully before signing a lease!
From the time my husband and I moved in, there have been multiple things in our apartment that were broken, damaged, or needed attention. Unfortunately, getting issues properly addressed has been incredibly frustrating.
The biggest issue is that we went almost 90 DAYS without a working tub in our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment. For nearly three months, we have been paying full ...
rent for a two-bathroom apartment while effectively only having one usable bathroom.
We have been patient, followed up repeatedly, called multiple times, and tried to work with the property to get this resolved. At one point, we were specifically told that maintenance would be coming to repair the tub and that we needed to leave the apartment while the work was being completed. We followed those instructions and left the property.
I later called and was told that maintenance had entered our apartment and completed the repair. When we returned, the tub had NOT been repaired and no one had even entered the apartment. We were then told that we had somehow “denied service,” despite the fact that we were not even home because we had been instructed to leave for the repair.
We have sent multiple emails and made multiple attempts to get clear answers. We are now at the point where we want to leave this property. Paying full rent while going almost three months without full use of the apartment we signed a lease for, on top of the issues that were already present when we moved in, has been extremely disappointing.
I’m honestly really sad because we just moved to Charleston and since the day we moved in there has been issues. This post would been enormously long if I listed every single problem and thing broken. Since nobody has gotten back to us with answers or a solution, that’s why we are writing this review. The good reviews of this apartment fully tricked us, and would not recommend anyone to live here.
I want to include management only reached out to me directly after I made this review public. Throughout this entire situation, all communication and emails had been handled through my husband. It was only after I publicly shared our experience that management made a point to contact me personally. Still nothing is being done about our situation.
