March 20, 2023Overall this place is very nice for a first time apartment owner. I love the fact that I have my own bathroom and the fact we have a big kitchen and an in unit washer and dryer. I think the parking garage is a bit small but I’m glad there is covered parking. I renewed my lease and will be saying next year.Property Manager Responded

Great Place for College Students
March 18, 2023I have lived here since Fall of 2019. Over the past three years, there have been several management changes. With those changes, some aspects of the building went downhill. However, when the current management team took over, things have improved greatly. The gym is always clean, they have installed white boards in the study rooms, there are gaming options in the arcade room, and community events happen often. Additionally, the bus system makes it easy to get to and from campus. I recommend this ...apartment complex to anyone who is looking to live in a more quiet area, as being in the River Landing is quiet and quaint compared to downtown Iowa City.Property Manager Responded

March 16, 2023As someone who has lived here for 2 years and seen 3 different management companies come and go. I can say that the current management Haverkamp, who took over in October of 2022, is doing all the right things. They are trying everything they can to go above and beyond to help residents out, and make it a community that people want to live at. While everything is still not perfect due to past issues, they are doing everything they can to fix past mistakes.Property Manager Responded

New Management is Awesome!
March 16, 2023I've lived in this complex for a couple of years now, and I have seen management change a few times. The newest management team, though, is a change in the right direction. It is obvious that they are trying to build community and provide a safe, fun place to live for their residents. They are making updates and changes to the complex and how it is run that have been a long time coming - maintenance requests are resolved quickly, amenities are being updated and enhanced, and they are listening to ...the voices of the residents to take feedback in order to make The Banks somewhere that people want to live. The complex is in a really good location, and the complex has just about anything students might need. I'm glad to see the progress they've made, and I think it will only get better from here.Property Manager Responded
