There are days when all the elevators are broken, leaving elderly residents stuck upstairs. This place is also infested with roaches. February 19, 2024I love the property, its amenities, and location. The engineering staff (Jon Geiser) and team have always been extremely responsive to my maintenance requests. The concierge team (Beth, Michael, and Brian) and the package room attendant (Michelle) have been wonderful too! January 18, 2024I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at the Berkshire. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and I feel like this is a very close knit community. Having amenities included is definitely a huge bonus and it is the same price as university housing with more space and freedom. January 15, 2024Living at the Berkshire has been a good experience. The location is vary convenient for American University students, many of the residents are students. I love that there is on site laundry facilities and a gym. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is well maintained and maintenance staff are quick and knowledgeable when issues arise. Wanted to get certain things fixed and was told I would have to pay out of pocket even though it was within my first month.
