Avoid The Brooklyn Riverside – They Don’t Care About Their Residents
November 24, 2024I wouldn’t wish my experience at The Brooklyn Riverside on anyone. What I thought would be a great place to live has turned into a nightmare, and the management’s lack of care or accountability has only made things worse. On October 15, 2024, I came home to find my kitchen flooded because of a burst pipe caused by construction behind the complex. The water didn’t just stop there—it made its way into my apartment, disrupting my entire living situation. The complex set up fans and dehumidifiers, ...but these made my apartment unbearably hot. For over two weeks, I lived with one half of my apartment sweltering and the other freezing. It was uncomfortable, stressful, and absolutely not what I signed up for. It’s now been over a month, and my apartment is still not repaired. The baseboards, which they promised to replace weeks ago, are still sitting damaged and untouched. On top of that, they’ve outright refused to check for mold, even though the flooding created the perfect conditions for it. The stress of living in these conditions has even taken a toll on my health as I ended up in the emergency room. When I asked to be moved to another unit, I thought they’d work with me since none of this was my fault. Instead, they told me I’d have to pay all moving costs and a new security deposit. Even after everything I’ve been through, they’re unwilling to cover any of the costs for something I had no control over. The management here doesn’t care about its residents. They’ve been unresponsive, dismissive, and completely lacking in compassion. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect and your well-being will be prioritized, The Brooklyn Riverside isn’t it. After more than a month of waiting, I’m still stuck in a damaged apartment with no clear resolution in sight. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—this place has been nothing but a headache, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Property Manager Responded

August 8, 2022The management team works together to give the best possible living experience. I love the location. You get PARKING downtown! You can even rent garages. May 9, 2022One thing I can always count on from the Brooklyn Riverside staff and maintenance crews is outstanding service. Out of the 2 years we’ve been here, they have never let us down. They always show up asap to fix any problems we may have and do so in a timely manner. I put in a request this morning for my AC. Not too long after that, Nicky and his partner showed up, identified the problem and solved it in less than 15 minutes! Professional, friendly, and hardworking are just a couple of words that ...described there visit today and every time we’ve called in the past. Nicky and the staff at Brooklyn Riverside have set the bar too high for other competitors to even come close to. They are just one of many reasons that make this community so great and I can’t thank them enough.Property Manager Responded

The apartments are amazing, so chic. I picked the loft because of the view and the high ceilings! It’s incredible! I love the amenities offered and the overall clean and fresh atmosphere the place gives.
