Oakdell Way is a very quiet community close to everything from shopping to highway access. The neighbors are quiet but friendly. The management always respond to issues and tries to solve in a timely manner and every work order I've submitted has been resolved as quickly as possible.

This has to be the absolute worst place to live in San Antonio. I just chose to end my lease and pay the high fee for getting out after only 3 months. My apartment constantly had problems (including ant infestation, broken faucet, holes in my ceiling, broken fridge, broken stove, rat infestation, etc) Save yourself the stress and do not move here, they are in no rush to help you fix anything. My faucet was broken for two months and I was forced to pay the water bill for a sink that never turned ...
off, they barely just got to it and shut off the sink as a fix. There’s constantly dog poop everywhere and don’t even get me started on the barking dogs all night and day.

Oakdell Way is a nice secluded townhome community that has easy access to the medical center. Granted no complex is perfect but I've never had the issues I read about in other communities. Management has been very responsive even during Covid-19 it may take a little longer for responses but they have always solved my issues.

Management is very slow or totally ignores response to many questions. Sometimes fails to take face to face conversations or emails seriously.
There seems to be no system in place to inform all residents of current situations. For example, when the mailboxes were broken into and mail was being held at the post office for a month, residents were only informed by word of mouth.
There seems to be no annual maintenance for fire extinguishers, HVAC filters,etc. , nor any known pest control service. ...
Prior management had these practices in place and informed all residents.
However Maintenance man is does a very good job for what he has to work with in these very old apt units.
