Three years in and I have loved living here. Come summer time each year, I do wish we had AC, but I make it work with a couple of fans. The ownership changed in the last two years or so and they have been making great strides to improve the property with repainting/repaving/replacing etc. The location is great and I always feel safe as a female living alone. We chose The Club Torrey Pines for its amazing location and also because it has the best amenities in Carmel Valley! The huge heated pool along with the tennis courts are great! The apartments are nicely renovated and well priced. All of the staff is very nice as well!

Don’t be fooled by the model home they show. Actual unit is always “not ready.” There is no AC so will be hot in the summer months; regardless how nice the weather is. Unit is outdated. Shared water means you pay same amount living by yourself as four college students. In fact my bill went up the month I was away on business trip. MOLD. There’s mold that’s painted over. You discover it after moving in, because you don’t even get to see your actual unit before signing contract. There’s a reason ...
why they make you sign a Mold Addendum. So they can make you pay for mold treatment even though it was a preexisting issue prior to your move in. Staff is either smoking around front of office or clubhouse area. Secondhand smoke not a good way to start my workout. By the way, having tattoos is not a license to be disrespectful. There is such a thing as customer service when you manage apartments.

In general I love this place, but the noise has gotten really out of control. The gardeners use the loud blowers every morning for hours & then again midday & again in the afternoon - what?! With no A/C and a very hot summer of course you want your windows open. They need to upgrade to electric blowers, or be more reasonable.

This is a great community for anyone who wants a nice family friendly and quiet place to live. My expectations were not very high for my first apartment and the Club Torrey Pines definitely exceeded mine. The windows are new and the carpet was immaculate when I moved in. All appliances were in good working order and the grounds are kept very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and responsive and the amenities are great! It is very close to great shopping and only minutes away from the UTC ...

Leasing office opens in weekend too. Which is nice. All awesome public schools are walking distance. Very nice neighborhood and nice neighbors. This area is cooler than the other area, I have to admit I miss air conditioner sometimes. Their upgraded units are over priced. Old units are reasonable for what you get.Over all, I loved this apartment.
