Bad Complex

I moved in about 6 weeks ago, and the experience so far has been bad. Before moving in, I went back and forth with the management team because they weren't writing up my lease with the proper terms and concessions. After move in, I have dealt with cockroaches in the dishwasher, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. In addition to the roaches, I've put in maintenance requests for the toilet breaking, my window not being able to close all the way, sink leaks, and numerous electrical outlets being out. ...
Maintenance is okay, but can be sloppy in their work most of the time. I have come home to find caulking on my dishes after maintenance has been working on my sink while I wasn't home. The front office is hard to reach with their automated system, and when you do get through they don't pick up. Parking is a challenge, with a only a small number of spots being free. The parking system makes it seem like management is forcing you to pay for the reserved spots or struggle to park.
I'm only giving it two stars because they are the cheapest rent around the area. But to anyone considering living here, my advice would be to pay a little more and live in a pest free, well maintained, properly managed complex. This place isn't going to be getting better anytime soon.
