Loved the apartment but had major issues with roaches. They were there when I moved in. I baited, poisoned, and placed a work order. They scattered out of papers I left on the counter over night. Staff is responsive but ineffective. Moved because it's gross and they can't get a handle on it.

My young daughter and I genuinely feel cared about by the friendly management team, coordinators, and maintenance technicians. Although this is not the newest property in Lufkin, the staff and amenities (in unit- washer/dryer) make up for that. Most importantly, this is in a relatively safe and quiet location. The maintenance team has been great when it comes to repairs and the office staff has been responsive. Enjoying it here so far.

As I drive up and turn into the beautiful landscape of The Colony, it makes me feel at home. I can see there are improvements being made for us residents. Looking forward to the new additions they are adding to the swimming pool area. I am ready to get my grill on! I am also very appreciative of all the rock work and other nice additions the owner's have done in the last year! There really is no better apartment complex in Lufkin to call home.

It’s the Office and maintenance crew that makes apartment living doable for me. From day one , needing a place short notice that accepted a pet, they went above and beyond. When you have any concern or maintenance need, they respond super quick, even 1 am. Couldn’t ask for a better team. Washer and dryer in my unit, a big plus. Close to everything.
