Affordable Housing in a Great Neighborhood
July 26, 2017An attractive, clean building in one of the best neighborhoods in the city. The apartments are big for the price and can comfortably fit one to two people. The building regularly works to prevent pests and, should a problem arise, will deal with it in a very timely manner. The laundry room is decently sized and the only complaint I have is the cost to do a laud. (For wash and dry, it's $3.25). The neighborhood is beautiful with a short walk to the lake and a variety of restaurants in the area. ...It's very safe, with a mix of students, seniors, and young adults living together. Affordable housing in the middle of a College campus!
September 15, 2015I am an average worker trying to save and progress in a metropolatian city. I'm currently living in an old apartment building on the top floor in affordable housing in the middle of a Univiersity campus! It's one bedroom with the corner of the ceiling cracking and my bedroom walks inners exposed but I love the arch shaped doorways! It has popcorn walls but I love the color of dark tan. I have one side of the living room and dining room view of the rusty commuter train tracks , but outside my ...bedroom and bathroom window is a spectacular view of Lake Michigan only 2 blocks away! It has a tiny kitchen with 15"x20" side granite top but it's more than enough for just me. It's ok by me because it's mine and I can afford it for now.
