Lack of Cleanliness, Noise Control, and Lease Mismanagement
June 25, 2025Living at Courtyard Apartments was a terrible experience. The property was constantly trashed, and management clearly didn’t care. The people above us regularly threw cigarette butts down in front of our window, and despite reaching out to management, they never responded or did anything about it. The dog park was a mess every day—covered in trash and never properly maintained. We also had constant noise issues with the upstairs neighbors, who were always running, yelling, and letting their kids ...throw things at our apartment. Trash was constantly left in front of our door by others, making it feel like no one enforced any rules. We also had issues with the dishwasher that we reported but were never resolved. It ended up attracting bugs, which made things even worse. On top of that, they couldn’t get our lease right. We told them multiple times that we were only staying for 3 months, but they kept messing it up. The staff was incredibly unprofessional throughout the entire process. So Glad I chose The Courtyard

Clean, convenient and the staff is receptive & friendly So worried about moving into an apartment after having my own home for so long but these people have been wonderful. The location allows me access to most of Clarksville from my wheelchair and my complex is very clean and it's safe. My cats love having the huge courtyard where they can roam and have other pets with whom they can play. My new neighbors are now my new friends including the staff here. All great at their jobs ...and haven't left me hanging waiting for them. Not once. So happy I chose to move here out of all the choices I had. Can't imagine feeling anymore content or comfortable. May 8, 2023This is my very first apartment and I regret being in a rush to move out. They don’t let you do a walk through of your apartment before you even sign your lease (first red flag), did my walk through after and so many things were messed up. Doors won’t close all the way, windows are missing screens, holes in the wall, ROACHES were everywhere. They didn’t seem to have much sense of urgency when it came to any of these problems. Horrible experience
September 14, 2020I am having to take this place to court to get my deposit back. They will not take or return my phone calls. Tell me to call back in 2 WEEKS to talk to the property manager, because she is BUSY. They still show me as active and living there, even though I have been on the phone with them weekly since I moved out trying to get my deposit back. Now they are saying I owe over 2000 in back rent! I moved out June 12. The management is horrible, and I would NOT recommend!Review from Apartments.com

I would give 0 stars if I could!
January 4, 2020This place is the worst. Do not Move in here. They add so many fees to your rent that's it way more than they say. Most of the buildings air doesn't work and the dishwashers don't work. It's over run with roaches so bad that they have exterminators there every week or more for some buildings but it doesn't get rid of them. The staff is rude, maintenance never fixes anything. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself and your family a favor and look anywhere else but here!Review from Apartments.com

Roach motel
February 26, 2019I've had roaches from the day I moved in and 5 months later they're still here. Also, when I moved in I found dead bugs in my refrigerator and the carpet was in appalling condition. The paint job was terrible and it took them three weeks to fix the leaking faucet in the bathroom and kitchen. I will be moving out when my lease is up in December.Property Manager Responded

Probably the worst experience of my life
April 4, 2016The staff and almost all the maintenance we're incredably rude and unhelpfull. We had several problems that took weeks for them to look at and never realy fixed. They accused us constantly of throwing cigarettes on the ground, saying that it wasn't a problem untill we moved in, because aparently the chain smoker next door didn't start till we showed up. The ac and heater almost never worked. It's just a terrible place that is still trying to screw me over and I moved out last year.Review from Apartments.com
