About The Den Apartments
Welcome to The Den on Brooklyn, a newer green apartment building on Brooklyn Avenue NE and NE 52nd Street, within walking distance of the University of Washington and the University Hospital complex. Walk across the street on Saturday year-round to get local produce and other goods from the popular U. District Saturday Farmer's Market. Shopping is abundantly available from the local Trader Joe's and a new Safeway store just one block away. Walk to the Light Rail Station and quickly be to downtown Seattle or the eastside to Bellevue, Kirkland or Redmond. The Den studios rent for $950 per month plus $75 per month utility fee per person. Features Include: No shared bath or kitchen, Extra large windows, Natural lighting, Walk to University of Washington campus, energy efficient appliances, access to community transit and walk to light rail, increased insulation, 10' ceilings. Amenities: Bamboo flooring, Kitchenette with Microwave Convection Oven and built in Cooktop, Granite counters, Controlled Access building, Cats accepted, and Laundry facilities on site. At the time of application, we require payment of the $25 application fee per person and a $125 deposit that is then applied to the $500 refundable security deposit upon approval. Extremely noisy and uncomfortable
March 9, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comTo begin with, I really regret renting here. There are doors banging all the time. It's very loud when people are coming and going in the mornings and evenings. VERY inconsiderate tenants. They will set the laundry at MIDNIGHT, not kidding. You can hear the dryer, and it's a really loud humming. Overall, crappy quality: floors squeak, bad modems (oh yeah, you can't connect your own), bathroom sink is a joke. Someone yells outside at nights. Back alley is filthy. Don't be enticed by the cheap ...price, stay clear and you won't have to deal with the nonsense.Read More

You hear your neighbor basically all the time such as walking, opening the cabinet, microwaving, playing music...... And the bus layover stop is just right in front of the building so you hear bus noises even at midnight. You have to keep your window shut or it will wake you in the middle of the night. You have to run the dryer twice to fully dry your clothes which means you pay twice. The kitchenette is so small that I always knock off ...stuff while I cook. The couch falls apart if you sit on it longer than an hour. The only thing I like about here is the loft bed, and the WiFi maintenance guy. That’s it.Read More
