Three years in at the Elwood
July 21, 2025I love it here. The staff are warm and helpful. Any maintenance is completed promptly. One-line rent payment is easy. It is a wonderful pace to see bunnies, birds, and hear the frogs sing at night. It is family/kid/elder/pet friendly (I’m in the elder category).Property Manager Responded

Pretty but poorly constructed
November 5, 2023At first glance these apartments look beautiful, but once you've been inside one for longer than a tour you can tell they were slapped together quickly. The closet doors constantly fall off, like, all the way off, the sliding doors to the washers/dryer don't fit properly and the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. There is also almost no visitor parking. I think there are four spots for the entire complex. There are a handful of spots that belong to the neighboring community, but ...you risk being towed parking there, and there are no nearby side streets. Great place!
February 12, 2022I have lived here for 7 months, and have been pretty happy. I was concerned about moving into an apartment (I have always lived in houses), but have been pleasantly surprised with the management and maintenance teams, as well as overall cleanliness and sound levels. The only drawback is guests sometimes park in the tenant designated spaces which can be a pain, but I imagine that is an issue at any apartment complex.Property Manager Responded

February 11, 2022I've lived here a few months now so wanted to make a review. First off any issues or work orders I've submitted have been taken care of in a timely manor. Maintenance and management are quick to get top of things anytime I've needed something. The area is nice, no issues with surrounding neighborhoods. The only thing I can think of that may need some improvement is holding tenants responsible for keeping the entry ways clean in the hallways and reminding people no smoking allowed on balconies or ...near property. Great location and well maintained apartments
October 1, 2021One month in and loving it. Got lucky with a one bedroom in immaculate. The buildings have elevators making move in a breeze. Great neighbors so far. Hardly know they’re here, it’s so quiet. Maintenance does a good job keeping the common areas clean. Top of the line appliances including full size washer and dryer. Balcony is very private. Building design done well so you don’t see your neighbors when sitting outside. Apartments in this area are pricey but The Elwood is competitive. You get what ...you pay for. Other complexes don’t even have A/C for the same price!Property Manager Responded
