January 20, 2026I have been here since last summer. The management. Here has a great staff. They have fun activities for the kids to enjoy. A nice poolside are that’s clean.Here a the Farrington Home is a great place for you a your family and friends to visit and enjoy. They have an outdoor patio that you can sit and enjoy the weather. You will be blown away by the staff
March 14, 2025I can’t say enough great things about the staff at “ The Farrington” . I’ve been treated with so much respect, and kindness by Emelia,and Joanne , I haven’t even moved in yet. I was so hopeful to move into these beautiful homes but knew that I wouldn’t get approved based on an eviction filing I had a few years back , Emelia called to follow up with me on an inquiry I did ,and shared with me a program that have to help prospective renters approve for tenancy . The fact that she shared this ...information with me blew me away,and when I actually got approved I was stunned . Ms Joann was very sweet ,and accommodating with changing my move in date ,and I still am in disbelief about how caring ,and informative these ladies have been . It’s definitely something I didn’t expect.when you call they actually answer the phone ,they also return phone calls ,and emails something I have come to NOT expect from properties in the Columbia area. If you’re looking for a nice townhouse in Columbia,with staff that are friendly,and attentive,and want people to rent from them definitely give the farrington call. Nice environment
March 4, 2025Nice environment to live in especially if you have children. Staff is friendly and maintenance as well. I barely have issues with my apartment and if there is a problem, staff and maintenance is prompt in solving any issues. Property manager Ms. Joanne is very sweet and she isn't money hungry like these other property managers that be quick to put you out on streets.. she's very strict when it comes to agreements and very understanding because most of all she's human too. I remember one night, it ...was very late... My water pipe burst and flooded the floor.. me being me, panic mode and called emergency maintenance... She sent someone over my place which he arrived within like 30 minutes (due to being after hours they couldn't arrive right away) but anyway he came quickly and fixed it. She made SURE my apartment was 100 percent that night. I've never had issues with maintenance, neighbors, nothing and this will continue to be my place to live until it's time for me to find my forever house.Property Manager Responded

If they want your money they’ll get it
February 22, 2023Roaches in the apartment, black mold in the unit, and maintenance walks in whenever they want without notice. And if you can no longer live here, they’ll find a way to make your lease termination work in their favor. Move out early for any reason, even legally binding reasons, they’ll find a way to get every dollar they can before you go.Property Manager Responded
February 24, 2023Hi Ms. A. I am very sorry that you are unhappy and that you felt the need to post a reveiw that is completely untrue. All of our Residents are required, per the signed lease agreement, to provide a written notice. It is your responsibilty to follow the terms of the lease as well as respond to our emails when you are notified about your upcoming lease renewal. The fact that you did not provide the proper notice does not release you from your legal responsibilities. You also know there are no roaches or mold in your apartment, if these issues were present you failed to notify the office. As far as anyone entering your apartment without notice, this is another untrue statement. Again if this had indeed happened I am sure you would have notified the office at that time instead of waiting until you were unhappy because of your actions, not the actions of The Farrington Team. I will be more than happy to have this conversation with you at my office and to answer any other questions or ...concerns you may have. I look forward to hearing from you. I sincerley wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors.

not a good experience
October 11, 2022I applied to them and my application got rejected due to credit. I do not see any 3rd party company that ran my credit. My credit is good and I have 100% payment history my credit balances are low. Then they proceeded to say that they will mail me a check to reversed the $100 I spent. First apartment
August 18, 2017This is my first apartment and I was moving down from New York and Leslie and Rachel both made the entire experience a breeze. They were always helpful in answering my questions and were very quick to contact me back when I had to leave a message because I was calling after hours. I have a one bedroom apartment with TONS of storage space. Any issue I've had with the apartment has been taken care of immediately. The neighbors have all been very nice and the pool is a big plus! The community is off ...of a main road but far enough back that it is quiet and peaceful. Everything is super close (food, shopping, etc.) I could not have gotten luckier with this apartment. Pleasantly Surprised
September 14, 2015My husband and I moved into the Farrington on a 6-month lease (so our rent was a bit more than these quotes at $775. We also had a dog.). We were initially skeptical of the area and our neighbors but were happy to learn that everyone at the Farrington was very friendly and looked out for each other! There are tons of families, young couples, and people with dogs (also a lot of stray cats but they were always friendly). The management staff, Leslie and Ashley, were always great and knew residents ...(and their dogs!) by name. THey were always helpful when we had a concern and saw that we were taken care of immediately. We had a couple maintenance issues but they were ALWAYS resolved within 24 hours. The two maintenance guys are friendly and get their jobs done in a timely manner as they live on the property. One of them actually received our electronic maintenance request on his way out the door to dinner and came back to fix the problem first! They also do a great job of keeping the grounds clear of trash and landscaping maintained. I will say that you do get what you pay for, however. The unit we moved in to had been vacant for a while and therefore was infested with small cockroaches upon move-in. The issue was taken care of as soon as we addressed it, pest control sprayed our unit the next day, though we did still have problems with roaches throughout our 6 month stay. Management gave us a big discount on our first months rent as an apology, which we appreciated. If you are willing to look past a few bugs every now and then, The Farrington is a pretty good find compared to the price.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
