There aren't enough stars to give The Foundry! My family and I moved in to our beautiful apartment in June. When my husband and I came and tour the property in May, our guide Andrea was super nice and helpful with the application process. They told us in the beginning the move in dates were going to be mid July but then called us a couple hours later to let us know they had an apartment available for June (we were super excited). We had one issue after moving and the staff took care of it ...
immediately. They were super kind and helpful when we reported the problem. We have not had any more problems and I'm confident if we do they will take care of it. The staff is super kind. They had an Ice cream day where they rode around the complex handing out ice cream to the residents and I had just had surgery so they delivered mine and my 6 yr old sons ice cream to our apartment so we didn't miss out. Ms. Taylor and and Ms. Maddie were so caring to do that. I never thought I would in enjoy living in an apartment but my experience has been so great.

Thank you for your review. While we do have gates at the front of the property, our fence does not wrap entirely around our community. For this reason, it is possible that passersby can either walk or drive onto the grounds. The incident to which you are referring was a city-wide hit to all of the apartment communities in Carrollton - officers responded swiftly and worked diligently to address the situation. While we were saddened to have learned that this affected our community, crime can and does happen anywhere, to anyone, for any reason. Concerning our security system, we do have working cameras and were able to work directly with Carrollton PD to provide them with the information that they needed. Should you wish to speak with us directly, please contact the leasing office.

I had a relatively pleasant experience, despite the staff, the construction, the selective enforcement of lease violations (I see one manager replied on here that they take them seriously, but when I complained about trash in the hallways I was told it's impossible to truly enforce, same with the pet waste littering the complex).
However, since renewing my lease in July, I've been met with a different side of the staff. The internet went out, so I'm unable to work. I can't pay my rent. I have ...
exhausted myself reaching out to WhiteSky to get this rectified, but until they replace a part I'm just out of luck. So I'm facing eviction soon more than likely. Setting up a payment plan requires you to pay half the rent in advance, but I've used up all of my savings to buy equipment that was supposed to get me back to work (this was before I was even told it was a bad part on their end, I thought my port was bad).
There's zero help in this instance. The staff don't care, but they'll thank me for my patience while clipping an eviction notice to my door.
If you expect humanity from humans, then look elsewhere. This place is all about getting that money, and you are just a name on a sheet of paper to them. As far as I know, nobody but myself have called WhiteSky to attempt to expedite this issue.

As a college student, The Foundry has provided a quality place to stay that doesn't break the bank. The new amenities look amazing and I can't wait to use them! The front office staff is so helpful and kind every time I have interacted with them. Maintenance is extremely quick to resolve any issues and they really do fix the issues. My experience here has been so amazing!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for housing near Carrollton!
