About The Fox Building

The Fox Building is an adaptive reuse of a 20th century structure with a rich industrial history. The building was the original home of Noxzema and more recently, Fox Industries. The Fox Building has been transformed into a vibrant mixed-use community of apartments and artist workspaces. Many of the building's original features have been retained and restored such as original maple wood plank flooring, glass block windows, soaring ceilings, and much more. The residential apartment homes at the Fox Building include Studio, 1 & 2 bedroom Hampden apartments and feature polished concrete floors, modern kitchens and baths, washer/dryers, high ceilings with ceiling fans, and oversized windows. The Fox Building also features several loft apartments, as well as a number of live-work spaces, designed specifically for a working artist or artisan. I'm a young professional who moved to Baltimore back in 2024. Have lived at this property for 2.5 years now and can say that it has met or exceeded all my expectations. It's not cheap, but nothing in the Hampden area is. I couldn't be happier with the amenities, the professionalism of the staff, the competency and expediency of the service and maintenance. absolutely love my apartment. I live in the avenue floor plan (1 bd loft) and it fits my life perfectly. The high ceilings and massive windows make it feel spacious, and using it as my home office has made my work that much more enjoyable. The appliances are all up to date, and I have no complaints about the living space. It has character and my apartment feels like a reflection of me. Aside from the fact that all my friends live in the Hampden area, there is truly nowhere else I'd rather live right now for where I'm at in my life (of course, would prefer to own property but that will happen in due time). If you have any doubts, you can even ask me and I'll show you around a fully furnished apartment. Ask Cary for Justin at the front desk and she'll hook us up.

I moved into the apartment on August 6, 2022, and due to the unsatisfactory conditions, I decided to leave by July 30, 2023. I had to pay $197 . The internet connectivity in the area is poor, which significantly impacted my experience. I would strongly recommend considering other options before choosing to stay here.

The Fox Building is such a gem, I sincerely wish I wasn't moving so I could stay here forever! The management is always on top of everything and they always plan these cute events for holidays, dogs, etc. The building is always clean; I see the cleaners every morning in the lobby before I go to work. The units are gorgeous, especially if you're lucky enough to have the ones with the huge windows. 10/10 would recommend!

A Great Place to Live

Would totally recommend this apartment complex! The Fox Building is situated in a great neighborhood, a short walk to The Avenue, MoM’s Organic Grocery Shop or Johns Hopkins main campus. The area is also really quiet, surrounded by cute row houses, and plenty of parking on site. Current staff is amazing and always communicative about events or information!! Have had no issues within my apartment, especially as it is newly built with updated amenities.

Worst Building and Property Management Company ever. The most unethical staff and company ever. The whole building is falling apart. Bats, Birds, Wasps, Walls Leaking, Ceiling Leaking. Won’t fix anything, treats residents like trash. Multiple residents currently taking then to court.

Thousands of dollars in fees

I've lived here for almost a year, and now that my lease is up I am moving. They are trying to charge me an early termination fee of $3152 despite the fact I am leaving on the day my lease ends. Unless you want to be charged thousands of dollars when you try to leave, do not live here.

You will not find a better staff in all of Baltimore. From the very first day my wife and I ever entered this building, we were treated like family. We were shown several units until we found the one that really spoke to us ( all of them are beautiful, by the way), and at no point was there any pressure. Immediately we submitted our application and went about making arrangements to rent our Hampden home to make the Fox our new home. Ms Kim and Ms Shonda are so friendly and knowledgeable, and Mr ...

Kenny is a top notch Superintendent. There is something for everyone at the Fox Building. My family loves it here!
