Better Options
February 18, 2025I am only giving a 2 star, as the apartments themselves are nice, but otherwise the complex/management gets 0 stars. The property is now on the 3 different management companies in a span of 3 years. We were lied to upon moving in, as we were supposed to get a 1st floor apartment, but upon moving in discovered it was a 2nd floor. Thankfully we are not handy capped. Our rent has been screwed up since we moved in early last year and the management is not solving the issue. You definitely can find ...much better elsewhere for the same price. Parking is also horrible; we usually have to park far away from our apartment.Property Manager Responded

Would NOT recommend
March 7, 2024The community looks good on the outside, but there is a lot of gun violence around. Moved in June 2023 and found mice poop all over the laundry area, and still continue to have a cockroach problem. Maintenace is efficient if you need something fixed. Community amenities are not impressive, and you will get the run around from staff.Property Manager Responded

Do Not Move Here.
August 7, 2023If you, your friends or loved ones are looking for a safe place to call home, this is not the place to move to. There is a lot of gun violence and little to no security. You will hear gunshots nearly every night from the community behind the apartment complex and verified by the Citizen app. There was a double homicide in one of the units last week (first week of August 2023). I was informed by one of the maintenance techs that my unit had previously been broken in to as well. Aside from ...this, the maintenance staff is professional and prompt and efficient in their service.Property Manager Responded

Go Gardens Go!!!!
May 5, 2022The Gardens is great. Maintenance is efficient, responds fast, and fixes everything right the first time. The ground's look incredible. The grass is green everywhere, greener than I've ever seen it in the four plus years I've been here. You look around at the panoramic view of the property and you see nothing but bright green grass and no dandelions. It's perfectly maintained. Hooray for the landscaping crew They do a great job. Bravo for the Gardens installing security gates The staff is being ...proactive to keep everyone safe. The office staff is great. Two of the managers are wonderful to work with sweet, soft spoken ,and are able to get things done for individual tenants to meet their needs. In the evening it's relatively quiet on the property after midnight. Not too many cars going in and out, no foot traffic, no dogs barking. I'm looking to upgrade the apartment I have into something better and I know that there's a nice variety of apartments which are being renovated and what's included with the rent is excellent. There are also all kinds of lease terms to fit everyone's needs; ranging from three month leases to 15 month leases. The staff puts on community events like the Cinco de Mayo,like June events, July events. They do things around the pool. They're very proactive to get the residents involved.Overall it's a great experience. It's a great property I'm happy to say that I live in the Gardens and I can see myself living here for years to come.Property Manager Responded

Not Safe Anymore
April 4, 2021Moved here in July 2019. Renewed under the new company (GoldOllar) in 2020 because we had a good experience in our first year. Not sure what the new company is doing differently, but this place is just not safe anymore. As of April, there have been MULTIPLE gun violence related crimes (and deaths) here thus far in 2021. Police seem to be here every other day. The camera system out front and security guy seem to not do anything to stop it. Friends of mine in the CPD say this area has just all of ...the sudden got bad out of nowhere. Not sure how many more bad things will happen this year, but I'm not waiting around to find out.Property Manager Responded

Wonderful Property with wonderful staff
October 2, 2020The Gardens is a great location, a quiet neighborhood, and within a 5 minute drive to every shopping necessary or not that you could look for. They have an excellent and helpful staff, including maintenance worker Pete Kelly, who goes above and beyond to service the residents. Across the street is the local grocery store Giant Eagle, and just down the road are the Easton Mall, Walmart, Best Buy, and John Glenn International Airport, all within a short drive.Property Manager Responded

Don't do it!!
August 30, 2019This was such a terrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Between not being able to leave my residence because of the only exit out was severly flooded every time it rained and the water being turned off several times for long periods of time. I honestly couldn't believe that we were paying good money to live in a place like this. Everytime the water was turned off they instructed the entire large community to use the restrooms at the grocery store that would take at ...least 10-15 mins to walk to, I felt terrible for the elderly tenants and people with children. It was not safe there. Many cars were broken into and my neighbors back window was smashed in the middle of the day when 2 males were trying to break into his apartment. Large groups of males would gather in the parking lots at night and make it very uncomfortable to do simple tasks like carry in your groceries without feeling threatened. The staff was awful, they had zero concern if you needed to get somewhere (work, errands, meetings) but you couldn't get out due to flooding. We were paying good money and should have been compensated in some way for the severe disruption that living there had on our lives, but "there was nothing they could do". Comfortable and homey
August 20, 2019I have loved everything about my move-in and living experience. I moved here in May from another complex that was simply a nightmare. My new lodgings has been everything the other place was not. I am very happy here and the staff are wonderful.Property Manager Responded
