About The Glen at Shawmont Station

Modern Apartment Homes in the Manayunk - Roxborough area of Philadelphia. Haunted Halloween promotions now running! Modern garden-style apartment living! One mile to SEPTA Regional Rail, two miles to Main Street, Manayunk. Dogs and cats are accepted (except in any apartment starting with "3") with fees. Free parking for the first two vehicles. Maximum of three vehicles. Onsite EV Chargers. 24-hour Cardio Room Wi-Fi Resident Cafe Package Locker Room All sources of income must meet or exceed 3 times the monthly rent. Any lease beginning on the 20th of the month or after must pay the following months' rent upon moving in. Security deposit is forfeited if the application is canceled after 72 hours of applying.     My wife and I (and our dog) really enjoy living at the Glen. If you are looking for a quality place tucked away but still largely accessible, this is the place for you. Really, don’t pass it up. My wife and I don’t want to consider ourselves to be picky when apartment shopping, but we kinda are. The Glen has exceeded our expectations in a variety of ways. - The staff, Kevin and Laura, have been SUPER helpful since we’ve been here. We often have a lot of requests for them and they often go out ...
    of their way to help us out. - It’s relatively quiet (for the city) which we love, and the spacious parking has been nice. It’s also SUPER green with all the trees and plants which is a nice touch. - The apartments are pretty unique in layout which I have found to be just a small thing to make it feel like home. - For city living, it’s a pretty affordable price for what you are getting! - On occasion, the leasing office host’s parties and friendly competitions online which has been a fun way to engage with the community.     I was instantly drawn to this complex because of its proximity to Manayunk but nice quiet ambiance and community. It was a very good decision. The leasing office and staff continuously prove to be helpful, welcoming, and understanding. The development has a gym, cafe, and dog park, all that I benefit from despite not having a dog! The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. The apartments feel like home and are updated and modern. With so many options, It was easy to find the perfect fit for me. ...
    Since it is so close to Manayunk, I can enjoy downtown while still being able to relax on my balcony and enjoy the quiet night if I want. I definitely feel like I’m part of a community instead of just a resident filling a space. It has been great to adapt and live here. I definitely recommend for families, couples, singles, retirees, or young adults starting their journey. There is a mix of people for everyone in the community that is great. I am looking forward to the rest of my time here! A great place!

    If it seems too good to be true, it is! This company is all smiles but incredibly sketchy and dishonest under the surface. Hundreds of dollars in fees not mentioned in the lease, changing stories, nasty attitudes, EXTREMELY unhelpful. We ended up canceling our lease before we even moved in. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, but I can only assume it would have been an entire year of this same behavior so, no thanks!

  • Really great apartment complex in quiet area

    I was a resident for 4 years at the Glen and was sorry to move. My job transferred e to the west coast and I miss my lovely apartment at Shawmont Station. The complex is located on top of a hill and is in a very pretty setting. We were close enough to the nightlife in town, yet far enough away from the hustle. There is ample parking and a great office staff. I will miss Kevin who "is" The Glen. He and his team were always responsive to any minor issue that came up. Repairs were done swiftly and ...
    they were on top of the maintenance in the complex. The apartments were very competitively priced and on the west coast I am paying double and it's not half as nice! The property is about 10 years old and they are constantly updating the apartments. You get stainless steel appliances and a washer dryer in each unit. They have an onsite 24 hour Gym and there is a nice coffee bar with snacks available as well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in the area.

    The property is under new management and is not what it used to be. Lived here for years but do not recommend it now. They send out terse notices to residents, claim they provided notice when they did not. The front office was the best part of living here and that’s no longer the case.

    My wife and I have lived at the Glen at Shawmont Station for 2 years, and it has been one of the best apartment renting experiences that we've ever had, and here's why: -The Office staff are fantastic. They hold regular resident events, are very responsive to maintenance requests, and are extremely kind and attentive to the needs of the residents. -We have a huge parking lot with tons of free parking spaces (there are no other apartments in this area that have parking like this, in most places ...
    around Manayunk/Roxborough it's a pain to find a spot). Also, they do a great job of keeping the parking lot and sidewalks treated and plowed in the winter. -Maintenance is always on call, and they usually respond to an issue within an hour of us reporting it. -The apartments are new, huge (you won't find other apartments this big in this area), and have great amenities like stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, central AC/heat, porches/balconies, and gas stoves...to name a few. -Free 24 gym and Wife Cafe on site (with free coffee!) -Beautiful views of the surrounding area and wooded hills, as the apartment complex essentially sits on the top of it's own secluded hill. I highly recommend getting an apartment at The Glen At Shawmont Station!

    Moved in 3 months ago. Wanted to be close to bars of Manayunk and train station. Location great for both. Looked at a place on Main Street but too old and had to pay for parking. Looked at a place next to station but either looked at train or factory and too loud. I have a third floor balcony facing the woods. Flexible lease terms but I took the twelve month for free rent offer. You won't be disappointed.
