New tenant as of June 1st
June 23, 2021So far i would rate this a 5 star i moved in on June 1st but i love it here so much. The place is absolutely beautiful and is kept up so nice. The only thing i see that is kinda yucky is the grass is burning up because we have been in the 90's since i moved in with no rain. I am guessing that will change when the weather does. February 3, 2021We moved here in April of 2020. We found Grainwood to be very nice and well cared for. They have a beautiful courtyard with tables and gas grills which we have used and enjoyed. They have a great room with tables and a kitchen for visiting with friends. We live in a three bedroom on the fourth floor. Beautiful layout and plenty of room. You will not find a better place to live for the price. I believe the staff is very helpful and the maintenance is always ready and quick to fix any of your ...problems. Grainwood Senior Apartments
March 14, 2020My daughter and I moved into the Grainwood in the spring of 2018 and we love it here. The building is beautiful and we have met so many neighbors. It is a friendly community. Since my daughter had a background in film, she offered to provide the movies for the movie theater twice a month and that has been a big success. We went from 3-4 people to filling all ten seats the last couple of months. There is an activities group where we plan for things to do in house like potlucks, cards, bingo and ...other games. Some love to have something to do and some like their privacy. The staff is excellent. There are up to three office workers and they are very friendly and welcome people to come in to talk. We have two maintenance men who are so great and friendly. We can put in a request for something and it is usually done within 24 hours. There are rules for the building that are fair and for the health and safety of the community. That is what we are, a community. At this time all activities have been cancelled due to the coronavirus concerns and we are grateful that has been done because the health of our community is more important than a potluck or bingo game as much as we enjoy them. Our apartments are wonderful. We all have our own laundry in the apartment which I love. We are in a three bedroom and there is a lot of closet space in the bedrooms. We use one bedroom for an office. Some use it as a den or dining room. It is just off the kitchen. Some have a shower and some have a tub. We have two bathrooms so we have both. The back yard is so serene and it has a paved sidewalk for walks on nice days or for walking of pets. They allow a dog or a cat. We just signed our lease for another year. We love our community here and the building and the staff. The people here are very friendly. It is a great place to live. We are all looking forward to the end of the Covid-19 virus so we can get together again.
