Management is terrible
December 8, 2022The apartment complex itself is nice, but the management? Terrible. They took over 1k from me when I moved in and never put it in my account. I've lived here a year now. They have the receipts, i have the receipts, and yet nothing has been posted. I've never been able to use the wifi that I pay every month for, I've had my heater out the whole time I've lived here, and my toilet was broken over a month and they kept marking it as fixed when it was not. They are now kicking me out when they should ...not be. I am so done with this apartment complex, run far and run fast does not even cover the half of it.Property Manager Responded

New Company NOT good
August 31, 2021This Company that had taken over the Hulen Oaks Apartment is even more worse. The trash that is left in the breezeways is not clean. A lot of the green bushes and trees and grass has been destroyed. Dog poop is everywhere all around tenants cars and sometimes in the middle of parking area. Some contract worker left a ladder at my balcony today. No one is using it. I ask management to have it removed from the balcony and not leave it there overnight for someone to come up and try to break in on ...me. They didn't do nothing. The ladder has been here all day and no one is using it. I don't know who left it there. The person from this contract company know that they are wrong to leave this ladder at my balcony. I will do what I have to do to protect myself. Management had tried to get me to pay rent thru my account at my bank. I refuse too. The last 2 months water had been shut off 6 times. It has been hot and come in and find out the water is off because management doesn't let you know anything until you find out on your on. Gem in Disguise !
July 29, 2021The Haven is a great strategic location according to surrounding availability and ease of access to 20/35 which are just a couple of miles down the road. Access to shopping all within a miles radius. Staff is professional and courteous, clean surroundings, Main entrance has a traffic light where you can turn right or left out of complex, Medical Doctors, Costco, Sams Club & Target etc. Just want to recognize this location as Customer Service needs to be acknowledged. Warning
August 20, 2020Recently the mail boxes were broken into. The main gate is rarely working. The grounds are rarely kept clean of dog droppings. The neighbors fight, do drugs, and the main office does nothing. Maintenance requests take months to get filled, if ever. Maintenance left an open knife on my bed after coming into our apartment. Upon moving in the "clean" apartment had shattered glass in a closet and a decaying rat on the porch. There are roaches and spiders constantly invading the apartment because ...they don't ever spray. And bring any of this to the attention of the office, they will get an attitude, and then do nothing to solve the issues. Numerous complaints ignored
August 20, 2020My family has lived here for three years. The first two years, I would have given four stars - few problems. But for the last year, our upstairs neighbor has smoked weed regularly. It invades our entire home for hours every time. The first time I complained to the office, the office attendant said that it would take three complaints, then the neighbors would be evicted. While I realize that isn't entirely realistic, it has been at least ten in-person complaints and three emails over months since ...then. We do not let the office know every time they do it. It is sickening, pervasive, and has ruined what we used to think were decent apartments.Property Manager Responded

February 28, 2020This is by far one of the cleanest complexes ive had the pleasure of residing on. Excellent maintenance
February 26, 2020I have lived at 3 apartments and this complex is beautifully well kept. You can tell they take pride in their residents because the maintenance man Spencer, picks up the ground and is super sweet and polite. The office staff are also very friendly on top of it. Excellence Achieved
February 26, 2020My husband and I have looked at many properties in the area and we both agree that Hulen Oaks one of the better if not the best we've visited. The office staff were amazing! Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. But someone that stood out :While in the lobby, we met the porter. (Maintenance) I believe his name was Spencer; one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! When viewing the property a few minutes prior, I had noticed how well-kept,tidy and clean the property was. Not a piece of trash or ...debris in sight. (Much cleaner than I have ever seen any property ever!) I had to compliment his dedication and attentiveness. Not only was Spencer friendly and dedicated, he was knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions my husband or I had; unlike any other maintenance men in my previous apartments.
