As a resident who’s lived here for awhile, it’s become increasingly clear that the leasing office and rental company see their tenants not as people, but dollar signs. My last two renewals have come with around 20% increases on rent, with no room for negotiation. So many people have moved out, pushed out by high costs so new renters can move in and be taken advantage of.
