Lovely Property but Unsafe
October 13, 2024There are lots of wonderful things about living at The Henry but they are overshadowed by the violence, including shootings, outside the building. In the last year, three units on the south side of the building have had bullets come through their windows. The building ownership refuses to share this information with residents - even after being asked by those impacted by the shootings. This isn’t a place where you can trust what you’re told on a tour or when negotiating your lease.Review from Apartments.com

Loved my Henry Apartment
January 27, 2017I lived at the Henry for one year in 2016 and LOVED my one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. I had an amazing view of the Thea Foss Waterway and looked out at the marina. My deck was amazing year-round for people watching, yacht-gazing, and the summer nights were remarkable. I loved my neighbors and everyone was extremely friendly. Management was on point and always available to assist me. The Henry leasing gals, Megan and Ashley are the best!!! They make you feel right at home while living at ...The Henry. The community room is spacious and accommodating for private parties, which I used on more than one occasion. I loved the rooftop access and dog area. Living at The Henry as a single female -- being able to go up to a secure roof to let my dog handle business and get fresh air was awesome. Loved my parking garage spot. Love everything about my new apartment!
October 1, 2015After searching hi and low for a new apartment we found the henry. It was the perfect location, amenities, and best of all we love trains so much we can can take a drink on our patio and watch them go by. I will never get tired of the trains! The staff here are awesome and very helpful during the leasing process they even took the time to help us answer any of our concerns (my husband owns a large vehicle and finding parking for it can be difficult, but they where able to help with that). Amazing Views on the Waterfront in the Perfect Location!
September 24, 2015I just moved into The Henry two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with my choice to reside here! I love the finishes in my new apartment: stainless steel appliances, hardwood, quartz counter tops (mine are white but they also come in brown), and the front load washer and dryers are great. The balconies are large on all the units and the windows are all tall with great views. I face the water but I saw a unit on the city side and even that had a good view. I thought the unit was small at first ...but after looking around at what else Tacoma has to offer I would rather be in a little bit smaller of a unit than give up the finishes and the fact that the building is new. There is rooftop access here which I didn't find anywhere else and the dog park will be great for pet lovers! I have ventured out a little and walked across the pedestrian bridge connected to The Museum of Glass and there are awesome cafe's and restaurants close by.
