        My wife and love renting at The Highland. Everything is great but lately we have been having trouble with people stealing our packages from the Luxer One system.

        Area is safe, close to restaurants and shops. Everything is close enough to walk. Everyone in the building is friendly. Always able to find parking.

        Love my building, unit and amenities. Especially love how quiet my building is. Rarely ever hear my neighbors. Location is also superb, right by the 101 and 405 so I can easily get anywhere I need to.

        Everyone I have encountered has been friendly that it make choice for living here a blessing. Although there issues with the water at times I still feel this community was the better choice for me.

      • Run - No Hot Water. Management Turns off Hot Water at Night

        Management is doing this new thing now where they are turning the hot water off at night to save money. They say they are "working on it" but no one is ever in the water heater room working on it. They also are never concerned about it and never call out an emergency technician. My guess is because they know exactly what they are doing and are turning it off at the meter. We also do not have an on-site property manager in our 101 building or a maintance person.

        I've lived here for a little over 2 months now and I haven't had one issue or complaint about the apartment whatsoever. Any service request I've put in has been handled within 48 hours and the maintenance & management team are always extremely helpful and responsive. My apartment was fully renovated prior to moving in and features updated appliances & fixtures throughout including a Nest Thermostat! Great area & location giving easy access to the west side and all shops/restaurants walking ...
        distance away on Ventura Blvd. The building is always quiet & clean, and parking in the surrounding neighborhoods has never been an issue for my roommate & I. Would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a new home!
