    Managed by Greystar. I’ve here 3 years, experienced experience two or three management companies. Just went downhill. When I first moved here, the property was under different management. Parking was a MAJOR factor in my decision to lease here. During my tour, I was explicitly shown guest parking spaces which mattered high-traffic area. After Greystar took over: * Assigned garage parking was eliminated, yet the price remained $175 per month. All guest parking was removed entirely. Meter parking ...
    is aggressive with predatory enforcement, excessive to the point of harassment. I have witnessed parking attendants: Ticket a vehicle while it is still at a meter. Return multiple times to re-ticket the same car. Place a neon tow-warning sticker on the vehicle the same day, prompting immediate towing. This happened to my guest. Add that mgmt. has a towing co. picking up resident cars INSIDE the garage they pay $175 for monthly (tags, late rent, etc). Private garage! Kickback probably. This is not about order; it is about revenue generation. Greystar's approach to basic tenant respect is where they truly fail. Due to some residents hosting unauthorized parties, management unreasonably decided to lock common areas at 6:00 PM, when working adults return home. THEY got rid of security! ASSinine polices & Billing: Your rent will never be the same each month. Greystar combines water, trash, HVAC into rent using "meters" allegedly tied to individual apartment usage. As a single occupant in a two-bedroom, two-bath unit with no guests, I am routinely charged as if multiple people live here. You still get a PEPCO bill too! My advertised rent of approx. $2,100 can balloon to $2,600 or more. Bills are often delayed and then "rolled into" the following month, forcing residents to pay double without warning. I received a $2,900 bill in December 2024. Despite paying $175 per month for garage parking, my car has been towed multiple times--each time was $175--due to expired tags. Not for being inoperable, overcrowding, or abandonment. I acknowledge responsibility for delays in transferring my tags from another state, the punishment is wildly disproportionate. When I toured, I was offered a preferred employer discount as a teacher-$50 per month. That discount has since been eliminated without explanation. This is a case study in aggressive monetization, opaque billing, and punitive enforcement destroying a residential community. This is not luxury nor resident-centered management.

    The improvements made by Greystar and the staff at the Highline is commendable which is why I renewed my lease. The entire staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have no complaints as an existing resident.

    I wouldn’t move here unless you absolutely had to for financial purposes. A lot of work need to be done with leasing management, the resident’s community and internal events, and the overall resources this resident building offers. Despite that, I’m appreciative of concierge and maintenance for the most part.

    Love my apartment at the Highline. Affordable, beautiful natural light, working appliances and fixtures, and great community areas to relax or workout in. Thank you to the great office staff like Maya and Teyonna who make community events enjoyable, they are all truly pleasant and great workers who care about the residents. Would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a place to call home.

    This is my first apartment without a roommate, and the space is wonderful (especially if you’re used to small city apartments), and in general my neighbors and the others who live here are kind and respectful. The insulation between units is also incredible; if there are parties, gatherings, or times when neighbors have loud tv or music, it typically doesn’t really bleed into your space.     I do recommend living here if you like paying high prices for low quality. It is amazing that you can go across the street and pay $150/month more and get better quality amenities, a balcony, and new kitchen appliances! Did I mention there is no vents in the bathrooms at the Highline? Hello Mold! Want AC/Heat around you entire apartment, or a efficient AC/Heater that doesn't run 24/7? Well don't look The Highline Apartments! As an added bonus how about we throw in some costly parking. The places ...
    across the street offer a gated/enclosed parking for a lot less, but not at the Highline because they do not have enough spots here so they charge you a high rate! Want a quality gym experience in the comfort of your community? No? Neither does the Highline! Who needs non-broken equipment when you they can just bring in Uncle Ted's old equipment to fill in some gaps. While the maintenance and cleaning teams are great, the management is less than desirable. They like to pass the buck and blame to others, and lie about pricing of things. So while you might be paying $150 more in rent, you will save that much in your utilities bill and parking. Go with quality and don't go with The Highline Apartments.

    Hello, I recently toured this apartment building, and I had a great experience. Property Management - Maya was extremely helpful with answering all my questions and made me and my family feel welcomed. She was patient with my questions and changes. The apartment building has one of the best diverse culture settings I have come across. Overall, this was a 5 out of 5 experience for me. Anyone looking for culture, diversity and acceptance, this is the apartment for you.
